dude it s not even when you re decently fed and farmed, that you can t do much when champs like, yone, hecarim, diana, basically every champ that no matter what you do is going to get to you, you re done for it, and if you re team is full of vegetables you can t do shit because you play gangplank

to new comers: He dont build Hydra anymore, Fleet I haven't seen taken for like a month of vod watching, and ER+Shieldbow is completely viable especially after the buffs but he really likes playing with Trinity, and Trinity's value comes from hidden power like the movespeed and attack speed, as well as its passive ramping up. I remember in a stream he also mentioned for any real comfort match-ups you know you will win can also go Conqueror for something spicy, but don't take it into people who use conqueror better than you. He also said on stream recently that he doesn't actually like Deaths Dance anymore but going for GA really needs HP so can't really be gotten alone in most situations. This leads some uncertainty in build paths, but mostly he goes TF -> Chempunk if having to build Exec, or TF -> Navori, or TF->Collector recently due to Navori being too expensive. The other items are from the same pool he mentions in this video, but situational. Haven't seen him build Essence -> Liandries -> ETC. but like in the video I imagine you can take it into comforts vs heavy tanks.

Funniest build i've exprienced yet was ER, duskblade, collector, infinity and navori or mortal reminder (duskblade actually give insane damages and slow on Q plus ability haste passive on every items) very bad survivability but i am ready to give it up just te see the adc hp disappear to one of my barrels ! Thx for the guide tho, might try out this ap build !
ER Galeforce Collector feels like the old days of season 7, when you were made out of butter but the enemy team was also made out of butter lmfao. Galeforce is generally a great item, belive it or not, the mobility and burst from the active is quite nice and the legendary passive lets you sell boots with literally 0 regrets. Doesn't even need to be a squishy build, you can round it up with a sterakks or something to make you like... tough paper?
I got a lot better at GP thanks to your videos, still wouldn't consider myself good, but GP is my favorite champ. Used to play him a lot before the rework, and after I just wasn't good enough to pick him back up. So thanks for helping me be decent enough to play him again, real cash money of you.

Bro my gp went from a bad wr like bad bad , i palyed the ton out of him got around 60 % wr 100 games + , but i was getting smacked by some elo champs . And i literly got the inspiration from Tobias keep playing gp it worth it and i learned how to get really good at gp from solarbacca

It's hard to stack, it used to need less stacks so you were able to keep Conqueror up when fighting tanks in lane. It was a bruiser-healing build that now would be the Ravenous build, Conqueror is hard to stack but the Hydra's omnivamp allows you not to take it
So, I find that in the majority of my games (Plat elo, and I have 1.3 mil mastery on GP) my team doesnt have a tank, and it falls on me to be a frontline. My usual build when this happens is Sunderer (assuming im fighting against a tank/bruiser top lane) into steraks. My next items are usually ravenous and visage (Will build visage first if I need the MR, otherwise build ravenous first). With a last item of either deaths dance, ghostblade, or chempunk chainsword. Your barrels might not delete someone, but you can 1v1 pretty much anyone and are a SURPRISINGLY effective frontline if your team has CC to back you up. If you relish those "How the fuck did I survive that" moments, this build is for you. Of course, games where my team has a reliable tank (usually the jungler) im fine with going crit. But in my elo, no one likes tanking after the sunfire nerfs.

He says "you shouldn't go crit into matchups where characters have range", but that's only true if you can't 1-part your barrels. The reaction time the enemy would need to counter that combo is literally impossible

In laning phase I tend to focus too much on stacking grasp with my q rather using my q on minions, then I'm out of mana really early.. Any advice ? Is there a healthy balance of getting grasp stacks and farming with q ?
I think gp is strong as well, tho with ER build i think you should try out Eclipse into ER, the shield and the omnivamp it provides may lead to some pretty nice outplay. :)

Hello! I've been looking into playing GP as he seems like a very fun champion. Though I'm not quite used to the range of his E yet. So I was wondering if it's easier to play GP using quick cast with indicator?
Ravenous hydra is god mode item. Glass cannon GP is just a death sentence nowadays but with ravenous you can build bruiser and still do a lot of barrel damage.
Hey ! Did you ever try to build deadman's plate on gp as a thrid item ? I feel like the stats it gives you into a full ad ennemy comp plus the passive that slows your target with one q is huge ! especially if you have a prowlers claw to dash in proc your passive and q again its free kill
Imo, the deadmans sounds fine. Especially for the utility but I wouldn't go prowlers into full ad Bc there's a lot of ad champs that can out duel you especially mid to late if you jump in like that in a team fight. Gl

You should try Essence Reaver -> Muramana/Manamune--> Liandry's--> Crits ( Collector& IE). Surprisingly strong.

I typically go 5050 GP, sheen > eclipse/duskblade> ER> collector> last whisper > GA/Ravenous/GW as needed/IE

Ravenous hydra is god mode item. Glass cannon GP is just a death sentence nowadays but with ravenous you can build bruiser and still do a lot of barrel damage.

Hey ! Did you ever try to build deadman's plate on gp as a thrid item ? I feel like the stats it gives you into a full ad ennemy comp plus the passive that slows your target with one q is huge ! especially if you have a prowlers claw to dash in proc your passive and q again its free kill
Imo, the deadmans sounds fine. Especially for the utility but I wouldn't go prowlers into full ad Bc there's a lot of ad champs that can out duel you especially mid to late if you jump in like that in a team fight. Gl
