      tbh both jobs suck, both of them are extremely stressful and has no guarantee of providing you money tomorrow even tho it provides plenty today. You can't do it as a sidejob too because you need to commit all your time to it (eloboosting). Never got into esports but pretty sure it is even worse.

      Yes it's the most important aspect. Tiredness and getting emotionally tilted massively affects how much and how effective you can use your attention too, that's why it's important to take breaks between games instead of just throwing yourself back in over and over.

      I used to play for hours on end 15+ games per day but I was always hardstuck mid plat so I decided to use easier champs and sticking with 2-4 games(at least 2-3 wins before quitting) per day and tried to keep an above average winrate and a few months later I reached mid/top diamond. I'm still struggling to reach masters ofc but at least I have a chance now and not a plat hardstuck anymore. I rarely get tilted anymore but when I do I immediately stop playing for the day because it'll just affect my performance.

    Dopa's "concepts" should really be just translated into "tactics." Tactics - an action or strategy carefully planned to achieve a specific end. This better incorporates the notion of executing small-scale micro+macro to achieve a predetermined win condition. Concepts are explicitly defined as "abstract" and "general," which aren't what Dopa is really referring to.

      @@kiss-shotacerola-orionhear1442 AD Warwick is more fun. I know you are confused but he has 130% AD scaling on his heals, but 90% AP scaling. So going lethality you get a lot more healing than going AP. Another fact: You can't build armor against Warwick, he does mixed dmg so whatever you even chose as a defense item, u lose lane. As simple as he is, the way the champion works is very interesting. Riot games ladies and gentlemen.

    Vision manipulation is why if someone goes missing but you have no vision to see where they went, you merely say "mid missing", you don't tell your teammates "Dopa went top" and then get your bot lane killed.

    True, there's only so much you can avert your Attention to.
    That's human basics, we can't keep track of everything. Tho we can if we practise the champion enough and it becomes 2nd nature to us and we can focus on other things. I wouldn't recommend onetricking tho, I just focus on my few champions with similar style and goal. For example if you like Global pressure you should play TF, Karthus, Pantheon, Shen and Galio
    Or focus on a certain set of champions for example Tanks (Shen, Malphite, Cho gath) or squishy duelist (Riven, Fiora, Irelia)
    Tho I'd have a mix of both defensive and offensive so if you're a duelist player you play Fiora, Irelia and then Shen or somethin
    Can apply to Tank player aswell, you play Shen, Malphite and then Camille or even Juggernaut that still deals damage but is tanky aswell so Nasus/Darius
    Or Midlane mage, you then play Orianna/Syndra and as Assassin you have Fizz stuff like that,
    So offensive, defensive can apply to any role tho you can stick to Midlane mages till the end pretty well so you don't need an Assassin if you don't want to, or even Tanks, different to popular belief you can stick to only Tanks and do pretty well tho I do recommend to have something Offensive as your backup as a Tank player.
    I personally played all roles decently, not too good but not bad either so when I get autofilled I have my champs. So don't stick to onetrick but do have your ways you play the game that you can recognize.

    The main reason that Lucian loses to Seraphine is that she has so much range, so much wave clear and scales so hard, he has a tough time dealing with such a safe champ before getting outscaled
    . The attention theory has something to do with it, but it's definitely not the main reason

    • @janke9913
      @janke9913 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    • @therebelofchaos1674
      @therebelofchaos1674 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Idk though, when you put it into average player perspective, attention theory is definitely very much the main reason. Otherwise why do we see a lot of 43% winrate hardstuck gold and plat fizz, katarina, and akali mains? Because they're playing champs that require way more knowledge of the game and how the champion mechanics play around that knowledge. These champs take up a lot of mental space to play effectively, and if you're devoting more of your attention into playing those champions well, you're not thinking as much about the bigger picture.

    Onetricking is the way i got to gold the first time with riven, the season after it was rengar who got me to plat, and then twotricking lee sin and riven is what finally got me to diamond back then in season 7, so yeah guys keep your champion pool small if all you wanna do is climb the ladder. Ofc play whatever the hell you want in normal games, but for ranked, spam 2-3 champs, maybe 4. But i would recommend 3
