Shreddage Hydra and Abyss reamped through real amplifiers

I finally managed to connect everything so that I can use samples VST instruments with real amps instead of VST plugins. Sounds very unnatural right now, but with some tweaking I think it might be OK! #studio #diezel #shreddage #vst

Agreed! Not bad for a sound check with zero tone tweaking. It’s amazing how different a tube head sounds compared to a VST

@ now, the one million dollar question is, would people hear the difference in a mix of this setup vs hydra through an amp sim and Impulse response.

@@Fralibers The primary reason I am doing this is for my drum practice, not for mixing or recording. The sound in the room is now very close to having real musicians in there. And that makes the practice much more fun. When you get the sound from each instrument from different amps in the room the separation is very nice and I find it a lot easier to hear whats going on
