Is there an alto or several that resolve up to an F# on the final chord, or am I hearing an artifact of the harmony/room? It's a lovely embellishment, whatever the case.
I asked the second sopranos to go down to the F#. I couldn't resist... :-) and hope Nils will forgive me if he finds out...
Well heard, Ty. I agree with Jan, just go with it -- I do that sometimes when I sing it solo
Maybe he didn't resolve it to symbolize the young man living on forever in verse. Resolving the chord killed him!
