    It always amazes me so much, how incredibly well these characters were played. The slight social awkwardness, the vacant look in Yosh's eyes when Stan is telling a story, the slightly awkward laughs at their brother's jokes, just down to the last detail they are so fleshed out, so believable. It's just incredible how real the Schmenge brothers seem to these guys.

    We had a once a week after work bowling league which involved a lot of drinking and a lot of fun. My team was The Schmenge Brothers. Our lineup? Yosh, Stan, Cabbage Rolls, and Coffee. We won the championship at least once, maybe more... (a lot of drinking so not sure). RIP Cabbage Rolls.

    Of course, Stan was heartbroken after Yosh’s untimely passing. But, we all know now what the maximum capacity of cabbage rolls are to be consumed with just a single cup of hot coffee. God’s speed Yosh!

    • @ianmichalski7997
      @ianmichalski7997 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is that what happened to poor Yosh? I remember reading a sort of tell all tabloid book called "Dark Side of the Schmenges" that made it sound as if Yosh perished in the infamous polka riots at Leonard Post in Cheektowaga NY. If I remember correctly the venue severely underestimated the turnout for their show and the crowd turned ugly when there wasn't enough coffee to go with the cabbage rolls. The audience rushed the stage and although Stan managed to duck out the back, Yosh tripped and was beaten mercilessly by audience members with his own clarinet. The clarinet made a full recovery, but Yosh was not so lucky.
