One of the strength point of Japanese is to make high quality things at very reasonable price. for example, gyudon. It's not only about cuisine, it's same for hotels. Of course, expensive hotels are great, but if you will visit Japan, why not try budget hotels. This time i will show you 2 budget hotels in Kyoto and Osaka.

The Loft Hotel in Osaka was nice. As you said the Kyoto hotel just your typical business hotel. Cheap and comfy enough.

Good video. Are this prices inclusive of all taxes and various charges hotels in the US slap on guests? How difficult was it to go from the station to the hotels? Staff able to handle people who don't know Japanese?

The price includes all taxes. I found many tourists from abroad at these hotels.

Good evening Jake. My family is planning to go to Kyoto and Osaka also. But we are 5 people. Maybe in one room good for 3 and another room good for 2. Please ask if there is a room for three and two people. And for how much? We are going to Japan maybe on second week of December. Please ask the prices of the rooms in Kyoto Central In and maybe another much affordable room hotel in Osaka. Thank you very much Jake. We are still in our planning stage and getting our Japan Visa on October. We really appreciate all your related vlogs that we can use in our plans.

Jake may be able to answer your question as well, but for the trip I just took in Nov last year, we had 4 people. For one part of our stay, we got two rooms next to each other that fit 2 people each. As a note, most hotel floors are of the same room type in our experience - so if you have one room with 3 people and one room with 2, you may be on different floors. I would suggest looking into Mimaru brand hotels - they are like an apartment where they can have multiple sleeping areas and a kitchen. Their prices were very reasonable as well. Nah the Kyoto central prices are way wrong just one night is $80 now even for booking Nov.....
