I was first introduced to these when a customer had them at a few remote sites. I don't particularly like the Web UI, particularly how it pretty much recompiles the entire config when just a single change is made but it is a quite capable unit for the price. I recently bought a second hand one that'll be the main router on my boat. I'll use the GPIO stuff to switch off and on accessories and maybe if I can reverse engineer the protocol this sunbeamsystem solar panel controller I have uses in its serial port have them talk to eachother too.
