That's pretty cool product. All kinds of I/O, OpenWrt based OS (I think they have their own fork) and not too much more expensive than consumer products.
By the way - SD card is in the spec. Can be used for "Samba share, Storage Memory Expansion, DLNA".

Great device does just about anything network wise. Sometimes the configuration of it is not very intuitive. FW upgrades occur quite often. Documentation is pretty good, but even more examples would be great. Large user community available…

Have you tried flashing a OpenWRT image onto it?

Great video Sir! Is it possible to attach external outdoor antennas?

Yes. Teltonika has a nice puck like outdoor antenna, which works really good

im a complete noob to these devices, looking for something to enable me to livestream events in the field and thinking the dual sim could be useful, but no idea? No one seems to compare these to the more expensive Netgear Nighthawk M2, am I totally dumb to even suggest that comparison?

This may of be 1 year later, but you need to find something that's got a higher Cat number, the RUT955 is a CAT4 which is slow. it';s not its intended used; look at a RUTX12 which is CAT12; nice and fast
