my honest take on this dash cam it has improved since m6 in terms better quality and eco mode, adding 3 channels. Wish it kept the wifi option the m6 had major app issues for apple users. hope they can have a addon feature allowing m7 to have wifi connecting with app or a app that allows you to load sd card to the phone and view recorded videos. but great dash cam love it glad i returned my m6 and bought a m7
I have Momento M7 Dash Camera . It's amazing and the video is high quality. When I watch the memory in the my computer . I found several folders Drive, DriveEvent , Manual , Parking , Parking Event . The question is: when I watch all the recorded videos All videos are in the front camera How can I watch the videos that are stored in the rear camera? Because I find it through the camera screen But I can't find it in any folder when I use the computer Can you help me, thank you very much
How come you don’t make a 4K version of this camera? Been doing some comparison shopping and the 2K seems a bit outdated for the front camera? Do 4K cameras truly deliver 4K quality?

Any pics of the interior camera not in a box? Where does it mount? Where does it plug in at? Do all 3 cameras save to the same SD card? Knowing where it goes, and how it records files on to the card is key for me to spend $400 on a dash cam. Is the 3rd channel included or is that a paid add on?

I just got the momento7, since there is no app to see your videos. How do you see all the videos that are recorded? If I want to upgrade to 256 card where can I get it at?
Hi David. There are multiple ways you can watch your footage. In a pinch, the M7 has an LCD that allows you to watch the videos right then and there. On your computer, you can use the Momento M7 Desktop App for Mac/Windows OR use the VLC player. Both players will allow you to view front/rear/interior channels simultaneously.
Can this cam be disconnected on the fly to show a police officer footage? I assume it looses power once disconnected from the vehicle power and so can’t show the video on the fly since you also chose to not have an app for this model even though you had an app for the last M6? This almost seems like a downgrade is some aspects..

you can buy a kenwood receiver 42-4 channel and buy kenwood side cameras but not sure if it would record, but i heard kenwood dash cam will connect to the receiver and record and save everything
You'll need a 360 camera or a 4-ch dashcam. For your purposes, I expect a very high power consumption which may affect your vehicle's battery life since the parking mode without radar requires the dashcam to be always on.

GPS cannot be disabled. Parking mode can be turned off simply by reformatting the hard drive to allocate 0% space to parking mode footage.
You can contact their customer support for a customized firmware that will disable the GPS

The m7 app isnt great, they need 1 universal app like VLC lets you play all file types for all momento dash cams

Why only 2k ?
2K provides a lot of clarity and crisp pictures and without crazy large file sizes that make video footage really difficult to share.

You would need their updated M7 Wi-Fi camera. Otherwise, you can purchase an SD card adapter that plugs into your phone
