For some reason this montage actually makes me understand why Carrie ends up with Big - the fairytale she had been chasing was finally realised with Petrovsky and it was lacking. She decided to go back and find what she wanted. I've never ever been able to justify her ending up with Big, literally until watching this video.

Not really. I didn't care for Carrie's look.
Also I believe we should call the character's clothing wardrobe not costumes.
Costumes makes me think of a costume party or some disguise not everyday wear.
I wasn't a fan of her really blonde shorter hair styles. It got better later in the season though. I preferred a lot of her season 4 looks the most.

The old shows and the characters are night and day to the "And Just Like That". Much happier and free without all the pandering rhetoric.
I really don't care for And Just Like That! I liked her narrative during the show, she doesn't do that with the new show
Cant believe how much this series encompasses, seeing it laid out start to finish its a lot of story.
For all those Carrie haters out there, the writers of the show KNEW how to bring Carrie back into reality. Good example, her stepping in the dog poop. Yes her character is self-centered, but not all of us living in a realm of magnanimity. Yes Carrie is in Paris, but she steps in shit. Paris wasn't all she thought it was supposed to be. As is her life. Look at the reboot and what happened to Big. Carrie could come off as annoying, but life showed her that disappointments, big and small (no pun intended) were unavoidable.
Very true. Poor Big I actually got sad. I never really liked him he had good points too though. So I think of him as just ok but, far better than Berger and Alexander.

Her season 6 looks were some of my favorites they were very girly and soft. You see she was going through a phase of still believing in dating despite what happened with Big and Adian .

Wow thank you for this - it was amazing! It took me back to that time when I was watching the series and just relished every moment of it - so real! Not thrilled with the new series, they pander and the writing is not the same but I can just choose not watch the new AJLT and remember the authetenticity and realness of what was SATC.
Idk to get the full experience you got to watch both.

This the 3rd time I have bought this series and believe me it was wonderful!!!! Why the he’ll did they leave it alone ? I just hate the new concept. The writing in the old SATC was ground breaking, fabulous and entertaining. The new one is grim, dreadful, nasty and I can’t think of enough bad things to say about it. Kim Cantrell could have a whole new gig just doing the “I hate AJLT “ tour. She was the heart of the show, Cynthia Nixon is trying to be the new gay sex Queen and it’s just not working. Maybe she will find her audience but the mainstream is not buying it.

I like Carrie in some of these movies. I think Carrie role was a woman who wanted a relationship but not family such as children. She loved her friends that had marriage and children but she wanted a selfish love with her and a man not family. The whole motherhood thing just wasn't something for Carrie.

So carrie reaches out to her and samantha responds with a joke and of course saying its ok. Carrie says i miss u. And that was it. Samantha doesnt respond anymore. This whole this is a lie. If samantha was really gone they wouldnt mention her at all like big was killed off. He couldnt do the series anymore because of other contracts he has with other shows. While people are watching ,building momentum when samantha finally comes thats when this will be number 1 again. And plus the executive producers alof course carrie charlotte and miranda and im sure samantha will have a piece of the pie.💋💙👍🕯

Watching the reboot of forced woke horrid writing is a canon of death compared to the original series. They REALLY should have left it after the 2nd film.
I didn't think it was that bad. However it is woke and I don't necessarily like it however I do care about the girls and their friendship besides if Miranda hadn't gotten involved with Chez Miranda wouldn't have realized she's an absolute hypocrite and that look never looks good on anyone.
The literal zero chemistry she had with Burger was so uncomfortable to watch.
SJP had way more chemistry with one episode lovers of hers than with that guy for half of season 6.
