The era was great! But I have to disagree with you, they really made the best of the new show abd transformed the lives of the girls just like life changes "in real live" - people fall out of love, deal with grief and end friendships.
I miss the original series..the cast..the fashions..All the ladies were fantastic but what Kim Cattrall as Samantha is undeniable.Love..Love the original tv show.😘
She could go on and on about her work with fashion and I still would watch. This really helped me understand fashion a bit better given the time period of how fashion is being displayed through social media. I just love her outlook and how fashion is about how you feel and mixing high end with low end allows so much possibilities in achieving a look that leaves the person feeling like themselves.
Hands down the Dior News Paper Print dress Carrie wears to go to dinner with Big in the second movie has to be the most beautiful! I can literally watch her go up and down those stairs over and over again and that dress is everything!
Great dress, but what killed it for me seeing it again was knowing it was the same dress Carrie wore during her failed attempt to make things right with Big's soon-to-be ex wife Natasha at the restaurant.
SATC definitely had an impact on my life. These women were my close, intimate friends that I invited into my home every Friday evening. And the fashion...well, that inspired the evolution of my own sense of style. It gave me a glimpse into the world of glamour, feminity, and individuality. Thank you for being a significant part of my womanhood and my life.
@@sarcasticallyrearranged I'm from Chile 🇨🇱 and watched on Saturdays. I remember watching the episode while getting ready to go to a club with my sister
during the pandemic there would be nights where i couldn’t sleep and i was taking a year off to find myself after finishing high school and my mom finally gave into watching the show again and showing it to me plus the movies and having my mom watch me have these feelings towards a show she once had was such a rollercoaster and a joy. this show and friends watching it after the fact because i was too young to watch it in its prime is just i cant explain it. because there will NEVER be a show in today’s society 2022 that will compare. the shows of the early 2000’s will never compare to today’s standards. timeless.
Should have watched the John Hughes "brat pack" movies from the 80's. It would have been WAY more appropriate to share with an 18 year old. And those were the best movies! SATC doesn't come anywhere close to what an 18 year could identify with.
I loved Carrie styles the most when she was dating The Russian. Gorgeous dresses. Also loved some of her looks when dating Aiden. Loved under black bra under white tank series. Also loved Sam’s outfits when she dared that gorgeous man (his sister was a chef). Ah memories
Charlottes Red Birthday NJ Casino outfit knocked us out I think. My favorite things about this show were the friendships, the conversations, the 4 unique characters and the real issues coupled with the not so real in everyone's lives.
that black belt with spikes that Carrie fusions with every dress or coat or anyting...!!! I just love it! She has the perfect body for every style and I love Samatha´s energy and colors expressing that!!!
Q hermosas estas actrices excelentes videos las vi tantas veces me gustaron muchos cada día eran mejores los capítulos de la serie q tengan bendiciones y éxitos todos los actores y actriz 🤗👍👍👍👍
Samantha looks really natural and comfortable in all her clothes even the mist outlandish while Carrie looks stiff or a little girl dressing up. The other too meh.
Great video about the incredible fashion of a show that will live on forever in the hearts and minds of women everywhere. I can't beleive the show ended so long ago. I still remember seeing an ad announcing the premiere in a New York newspaper back in the late ninties. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Very nostalgic indeed! Early 2000-s, as well as 1980-s, as well as 1950-s, - "sunny days" of the fashion, design, interiors, music, - fuelled by prosperity & social optimism.
I think that they could have used stuff from upcoming designers. The little thrift shop suit Carrie wore to get married was a Dior Haute Couture suit. They filmed the last episode in the restaurant in my building and the manager said that if he had known I was a fan he would have sat me behind her ! In another life. I'm sad that they have made a menopausal version, who want's to watch that, I would rather keep my memories.
I love that. "I'm not a student of fashion, if it looks great to me I HOPE it looks great to you (but I really don't care) because I like it 😂🤣🤭. This was fun. Thank you for the share.
Yes agree with the prouder because the movies costume designers did a fantastic job with making all the clothes for the actors and actresses playing the characters in their own first and second films
So sorry Stanford is gone. He was one of my faves. RIP.
I love Pat’s entire story telling aspect of the clothes
Samantha is my fave. She’s so unapologetic that’s absolutely fabulous. Kim has the body and personality to bring her wardrobe alive.
So my
Same. She’s such a relatable character for me 🙌🏻 #goat
@@roblo8188more than anyone in the show...
Missing this era 😢 all the 4 girls, Stanford, Mr.Big and Steve with Miranda. And Just Like That had so much potential and they killed it 😭
And most importantly Pat Fields!!!
The era was great! But I have to disagree with you, they really made the best of the new show abd transformed the lives of the girls just like life changes "in real live" - people fall out of love, deal with grief and end friendships.
They would have killed off Mr big anyway since the actor is a predator
@@juliastafflersjourney TOTALLY!
Agreed. I was so excited, but it’s not the same without Big and Samantha
I'm here for Samantha! Pat Fields never did Samantha Jones wrong.
Kim Catrall, you're simply the Best.

Timeless, and Fashion Industry owes these ladies for being the advocates we needed at the time. :-)

Shein sells a lookalike dress for under $6 (usd).

Patricia Field is just amazing
I never realized how much work is behind their iconic looks. The effort and the results seem fabulous as Sam would say.

The wardrobe in both the series and the movies is AMAZING. ❤️❤️❤️
Samantha and Charlotte were always the best dressed. Miranda was a hit or miss. Carrie’s style was weird but she had a few moments and great shoes.
My sentiments exactly!
I loved Carrie styles the most when she was dating The Russian. Gorgeous dresses.
Also loved some of her looks when dating Aiden. Loved under black bra under white tank series.
Also loved Sam’s outfits when she dared that gorgeous man (his sister was a chef). Ah memories
Soooo happy the algorithm sent me HERE! I watch episodes of the show to this day for style inspiration! ❤👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have SO much respect and admiration for Pat and her crew! That must have been long hours and sleepless nights.
❤❤
Love Mr. Big and his eyebrows.
That black and gold dress of Miranda's is really memorable because it suits her so well in conjunction to being pretty.
That movie is so vibrant and colorful with Patricia's works.
She’s right, it doesn’t matter where it came from. Back in the 70’s, some of the cutest, coolest cloths I bought, came from Kmart. 👍😀
Sometimes they looked ridiculous - but that was part of the appeal of the show.
SO ICONIC! Thanks for this fabulous fashion memory lane about fabulous tv show! Love you all!
She was definitely missing in “ just like that “

I have zero interest in fashion and have never dressed like any of the ladies.
That being said, I absolutely LOVE the fashion in the movie!
I loved how Pat played on color in SATC.

Hurts that my mom who introduced me to all these movies and shows is not here anymore yet she was so young 😢
Kim looks beautiful in the film, loved her hair and make up
The belted waist is 2007 at its best.
Прекрасная Сара-Джессика Паркер хороша в отображении легкой, веселой и безусловно харизматичной женщины. Любимый сериал, любимая история вне времени.
I loved the style on this show.
Only here for my sam jones

Oh pat…. Simply a GENIUS

Carrie was always wearing a costume.
My favorite show ever...and both movies of course...🙂
Loved these films 🙂

It was a pleasure to watch ❤❤
SJP saying that pat is indispensable, but pat is not in just like that... yep, the show suffered those two big losses
This is one of the reasons AJLT won't make it. No Pat Field. They should have waited for her to be available, before they made it. Period.
Charlotte has pudding in her Prada. Love that line.
Very nostalgic indeed! Early 2000-s, as well as 1980-s, as well as 1950-s, - "sunny days" of the fashion, design, interiors, music, - fuelled by prosperity & social optimism.
I just love her , oh and that fabulous voice just love everything about her ! Bravo ❤️❤️❤️
Love this video. The insider info & behind the scenes. Even the music in the 6 season show + the 2 movies. Love it!

4:58 Love the sequin dress on the left.
18:00 Dress is on Samantha. Not sure why always thought this dress looks better on Carrie.
Loved the fashion in this movie. Favorite carrie jewelry her namesake necklace, but truly the big gold butterfly necklace!!
Love this segment, have watched a couple of times. Shame on me for just noticing green look 7:44 😍
I love it ALL the fashion is spectacular!
Are they filming???
Fabulous video !
All dressses collection r best
I loved the fashions. Still do
Genius, pure genius
This video is an eye opener!
Pat fields 🙏, You're insane!!!
BRING BACK THE 80'S & 90'S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uuggh I keep forgetting how GREAT the show was and the movies were. Just fun and entertainment. Its not supposed to be realistic, its escapism.
rest easy, Willie!!
I’m not sure what the point was of showing fashion in such short clips that it’s impossible to see what the people are wearing.
We need a show like this for 2024 fashion with all the new core things and pinterest pls pls
when were these “interviews” with the actresses filmed?
This was clearly years ago. It’s probably between the first and second.
Liked watching this up to the fur coat bit 😢
Love ONLY most, repeat most of the costumes. But sorry......Fields REEEEEEEEEALLY put some BOMBS on the cast. And I mean BOMBS!!!
What? Put your crackpipe down and start making sense.
FASCINATED
Fabulous!!
como le hará Patricia para pintarse las raíces de blanco?
lovid never get this again
Me e canta porque se encuentra las cuatro hermosas mujeres, cada una propio estilo, elegantes, únicas, muy bellas, son sin duda
Las mejores, pero juntas, por favor. Besos.
RIP stanford 😢
SATC fashion was ICONIC, Ajlt fashion is an ABOMINATION
The women speak exactly like their characters!
Kim Cattrall only
love this
4 women, Big, Pat Field, Stannie = winning combo ❤ Take away from that you get AJLT 😢
I love Samantha! I'm waiting for you from south korea
I'm always on your side, even if there's someone who's bothering you
Carrie se me hace una tarada. Charlotte de plano inmamable, Samantha y Miranda las más cool
ヒールを綺麗に履きこなせる女性は
本当カッコいいと思う。

All you haters are keeping the success of AJLT high. It’s rated superbly. Thanks!
Love it

Me encanta esta película 😍 Samantha mi favorita
the legendary patricia field
It looked great?! My eyes...my eyes, hurt !
SJP = legend
I can even watch SATC anymore after what they did to it.
Second movie was a train wreck but made so much money like the first one.
