Missing this era 😢 all the 4 girls, Stanford, Mr.Big and Steve with Miranda. And Just Like That had so much potential and they killed it 😭
And most importantly Pat Fields!!!
The era was great! But I have to disagree with you, they really made the best of the new show abd transformed the lives of the girls just like life changes "in real live" - people fall out of love, deal with grief and end friendships.
They would have killed off Mr big anyway since the actor is a predator

Hands down the Dior News Paper Print dress Carrie wears to go to dinner with Big in the second movie has to be the most beautiful! I can literally watch her go up and down those stairs over and over again and that dress is everything!
Great dress, but what killed it for me seeing it again was knowing it was the same dress Carrie wore during her failed attempt to make things right with Big's soon-to-be ex wife Natasha at the restaurant.
I miss the original series..the cast..the fashions..All the ladies were fantastic but what Kim Cattrall as Samantha is undeniable.Love..Love the original tv show.😘
Samantha and Charlotte were always the best dressed. Miranda was a hit or miss. Carrie’s style was weird but she had a few moments and great shoes.

I loved Carrie styles the most when she was dating The Russian. Gorgeous dresses.
Also loved some of her looks when dating Aiden. Loved under black bra under white tank series.
Also loved Sam’s outfits when she dared that gorgeous man (his sister was a chef). Ah memories
I never realized how much work is behind their iconic looks. The effort and the results seem fabulous as Sam would say.

Patricia Field is just amazing
during the pandemic there would be nights where i couldn’t sleep and i was taking a year off to find myself after finishing high school and my mom finally gave into watching the show again and showing it to me plus the movies and having my mom watch me have these feelings towards a show she once had was such a rollercoaster and a joy. this show and friends watching it after the fact because i was too young to watch it in its prime is just i cant explain it. because there will NEVER be a show in today’s society 2022 that will compare. the shows of the early 2000’s will never compare to today’s standards. timeless.
Timeless, and Fashion Industry owes these ladies for being the advocates we needed at the time. :-)
SATC definitely had an impact on my life. These women were my close, intimate friends that I invited into my home every Friday evening. And the fashion...well, that inspired the evolution of my own sense of style. It gave me a glimpse into the world of glamour, feminity, and individuality. Thank you for being a significant part of my womanhood and my life.

I have SO much respect and admiration for Pat and her crew! That must have been long hours and sleepless nights.

She could go on and on about her work with fashion and I still would watch. This really helped me understand fashion a bit better given the time period of how fashion is being displayed through social media. I just love her outlook and how fashion is about how you feel and mixing high end with low end allows so much possibilities in achieving a look that leaves the person feeling like themselves.
Sometimes they looked ridiculous - but that was part of the appeal of the show.
She’s right, it doesn’t matter where it came from. Back in the 70’s, some of the cutest, coolest cloths I bought, came from Kmart. 👍😀
That black and gold dress of Miranda's is really memorable because it suits her so well in conjunction to being pretty.

Samantha looks really natural and comfortable in all her clothes even the mist outlandish while Carrie looks stiff or a little girl dressing up. The other too meh.
Carrie was always wearing a costume.
I have zero interest in fashion and have never dressed like any of the ladies.
That being said, I absolutely LOVE the fashion in the movie!
Charlottes Red Birthday NJ Casino outfit knocked us out I think.
My favorite things about this show were the friendships, the conversations, the 4 unique characters and the real issues coupled with the not so real in everyone's lives.
The belted waist is 2007 at its best.

I think that they could have used stuff from upcoming designers. The little thrift shop suit Carrie wore to get married was a Dior Haute Couture suit. They filmed the last episode in the restaurant in my building and the manager said that if he had known I was a fan he would have sat me behind her ! In another life. I'm sad that they have made a menopausal version, who want's to watch that, I would rather keep my memories.

Her comment at 11:32 is interesting. Was she really “not available” for the reboot, or did the “realistic” turn the series took turn her off? It’s no longer a fictional, fantasy version of perfect NYC, but a reflection of modern society.
