That’s really neat to learn a bit about the process of what songs get reacted to. Just looking at the list of what was voted not to be listened to by reactors the thought that immediately jumped in my mind once I got through reading it was: “OMG a lot of songs are listened to by the voting panel!” I think this because there are kpop songs on the list that go back several years ago which indicates that there’s an über oodles amount of songs that either have been approved or are on the waiting list for the voting panel to even listen to to decide which lists it goes on! I’ve been listening to kpop since the early 2000s, but I think that you all have definitely listened to more of it than I ever have in order to make these great videos of musicians reacting. No wonder I love your channel! Well, besides the great videos with awesome reactors providing wonderful insight on the music, you all do introduce me to new kpop artists and songs as well that I like as well as helping me identify songs I have heard played while streaming a radio station in Seoul, eating at the local Korean restaurant, or when shopping at a kpop store in the nearby metro city. I appreciate you sharing the process you undertake to choose the songs. You’ve definitely done a great job so far as I’ve loved watching the reactions and even learning more about music (reminds me sometimes of when I was in band in elementary, junior high, and high school).

For some reason GWSN hasn't generated a lot of interest in Korea. Their company did try, including their reality show, but while their album sales are ok (between 6 to 7k), their singles just don't sell. (Things have been so disappointing that their third EP only came about because of fan funding.) Maybe now that they are in their own sub-label they will find a way to break through.

@leo I think I noticed that. She was also always stuck in a corner where she easily fell out of frame (I don't recall if that's happened frequently? I remember being very annoyed about that). Still dominated that performance, couldn't take my eyes off of her.

Thanks for the video! GWSN is such an underrated group in the industry, so many people still sleeps on them but these girls are one of the most talented ones out there! Not to mention Tweaks, a song from the same album, was my personal SOTY in 2020.

Back in the 70's while playing R&B covers I "discovered" Purdey in Aretha Franklin's song Rock Steady. Both he and bassist Chuck Rainey on that track (both who recorded w/Steely Dan, etc...) got my interested switched over to the rhythm section from trumpet.
YEEES! One of my favourite songs of 2020! Really reminded me of some of my favourite Red Velvet b-sides (and being compared to RV b-sides is very high praise in my book)
When you guys reacted to "Bazooka", I couldn't help but wonder if you were going to check out the B-sides of the mini-album, so I'm pleasantly surprised! This song has quickly become one of my favorites out of GWSN's discography, and I hope we get more if The Keys is going to start another album series.
