6:15 the unsettling feeling is probably intentional, loona have mastered the art of "songs with an unsettling feeling to hint that something is about to happen in the loonaverse" 😂 from my interpretation, the beeping in the background is to hint at the cinderella thing. the "di da dam di dam di dam", "oh la la, why not?" is careless, carefree singing. the song hits the climax, it's past midnight, everyone is still dancing and the beeping gets more intense to hint that it's way past midnight but they don't care. there's something left unfinished after 'why not?' and the song matches it, i think their songs always match their loonaverse storyline and that's definitely something unique in kpop
The beeping sounds at the end sound like SOS in morse code. I think that's why I feel anxious towards the end of the song with their happy faces but the storm coming in and all of the happy vs dark images.

I'm not into all the lore and the "loonaverse" and all that, but I really love how they care about representing women around the world and how they say Loona is all the women in the world, not just them. They really feel like a girl group built for women, and all women at that.

i always thought there was something off about that final chorus and i couldn't quite put my finger on it, because i know next to nothing about music. i just knew that the instrumental had changed in some way, and i only realized after watching this that it's because it switched to a minor. i never thought of it as unnerving, just sounded kind of ethereal to me but now that you mention it, it does feel a little uncanny and i love it! i've always liked music that's just a little weird, not in your face chaos but something very subtle that makes you feel something indescribable.

As much as I love Butterfly and So What, at least for me, i have to be in a specific mood to listen to them but Hi High and now Why Not are so bouncy and easily digestible in comparison. Though it has it's own strange elements, it's still fun and exciting to experience over and over again and i truly missed that from Loona. It also vaguely reminds me of some of their predebut stuff.

I was very confused at first too, but it slowly grew on me once I got over the shock of all the changeups in the song. The pre-choruses and the progression of the last chorus are still my favorite parts. Still not too sure about the ooh la la, ah we we and dim da da dam, but it is super catchy and has been stuck in my head since the release of the song.

I love that extra punch in the very last dum di dums. It’s my favorite part. It’s either what you all said about it going minor or the added synths. It just makes it feel so trippy and a bit dark! It went so well with the music video effects.

I was very confused at first too, but it slowly grew on me once I got over the shock of all the changeups in the song. The pre-choruses and the progression of the last chorus are still my favorite parts.
Still not too sure about the ooh la la, ah we we and dim da da dam, but it is super catchy and has been stuck in my head since the release of the song.
