Hi Vlade from Tasmania, Australia. An excellent lesson man. I thought I recognized Henrique De Almieda's teachings when you mentioned "The Table of Time" :-) I've completed a few of Henrique's online drum courses and I can attest to how good his courses are. I highly recommend them to all drummers.
Excellent exercise to work on timing and well executed! Going from one note per beat up to eight really covers the gamut. Also I love that you dropped the stick on the easiest part which goes to show how much concentration you were using and then possibly when your focus just escapes the moment. I feel a lot better about my own recent drop now. LOL
What books do you recommend? I already have "stick control" & "New Breed." Anything good on phrasing? Or a book that helped you the most, any subject. Thanks
Trond Helge Knutsen Thank You! Feel free to slow the video down with the speed tool on TH-cam! I honestly do not plan everything I play when I’m improvising. However stay tuned for more lessons soon diving in those types of phrases !
Great and thank you Papa The next time for make a better videos : Put the Hand'and feet In the Music Sheet. Gracias and see you in the next one Rafael Ferrer Levy
rafaelferrer1 Thanks man! To be clear I did not want to include the feet on the sheet music, feet are only playing quarters and I explained it before playing the exercise. Appreciate your feedback!
CHECK OUT THE BLOOPERS AT THE END!!!! 🤓
Que tal primo!! Desde República Dominicana Saludos y suerte!!
