Thanx for trip down memory lane. Old stomping grounds. Can smell the sea, the forests. Gr8 part of the country. There's also a red lip mussel around the area. That's my fav mussel. Meat has a nice reddish colour and is so sweet. Yum. Luv the man cave 👍
It's one of favorite areas of New Zealand too. Especially for the muscles. Tauri I can't believe it never heard if red lipped muscles before. Needa find a place that serves these ASAP cause wanna try em. The sweet meat sounds bomb 😁👍👍👍

Hi I'm a new subscriber. I remember growing up in the early 90s there used to be a travel magazine show that was been played over and over until programmes started been broadcasted. That's wat ur vlogs remind me of. I loved watching it because it always showcased the best of a travel destination and that's what you guys do. Such a nostalgic moment for me watching this I'm smiling from ear to ear thank you for bringing that back 😁
Heya Ornacia thank you for joining our community and also for sharing that nostalgic memory 😁👍 growing up watching TV shows about the rest of New Zealand and the world was and still is one of our favorite things to do. We're glad the video was able to bring back those good memories for you cause these locations are very special to us we hope that more people get a chance to check them out 😊👍🇳🇿 ps your comment had us smiling from ear to ear too!
Once Upon a Time (about 60years ago) we lived on the farm in Purangi . Hahei was just down the road and the original homestead is still there at Hahei. Built by Robert Wigmore in 1874 and it is a lovely old house built from Kauri . Robert Wigmore was said to be the tallest man in NZ , standing 6'8' and a half. To get to Cathedral Cove then meant walking through paddocks on Harsant's farm . Happy childhood memories .
That intro was gold! So creative it felt like adventure sci fi fantasy I love it! Thanks for sharing the info about paying for carpark at beach, that's just shocking. You guys could vlog a place out of nowhere and I'd still watch it because yous make it for viewing if that makes sense lol fantastic work
St Waters! We always look forward to reading your comment. This afternoon yen goes St Waters just left us a comment and I jumped on my phone Asap to read hahaha. We were going for the fantasy vibe with the intro glad it came through 😂👌 we also strive to make these as informative and interesting as possible so people will actually visit these places. Thank you for watching and supporting mate we really appreciate the kind words ❤
The place where Peter was flexing his guns unintentionally with the man cave and hot water pool looks amazing. Like a little resort with patches of exotic adventures!
That calamare looks delicious and with some wasabi nice. Woahh hot beach thats interesting. love the Airbnb. great tips guys definitrly going here if in New Zealand.😃😁

Coromandel is a spot most Aucklanders know well but many tourists would overlook. Lost springs should definitely go on your bucket list if you visit. We've hung out the whole day there just eating and chilling out by the pool it's magical. 😅🤞 no cyclones blow off into the ocean somewhere please
It really is a nice welcome treat in such a small town. I remember back in the days most of these towns only had a bakery and a fish and chips store hahaha. Come a long way now 👌
Hahaha glad you liked the intro Chelsea it's inspired Narnia 😊💎 cathedral cove is definitely an epic spot and dawn's Airbnb was just the best. A very magical weekend away 🦎👍
Nice editing at the beginning. I love Coromandel, it reminds me of Maui and the lost springs at Whitianga are so wonderful. Thanks for sharing this nice travel tour.
Lost springs is such a magical lil spot right ! It's had us going back multiple times cause it's just so relaxing. Definitely helps after a busy week 😊👌

First time we heard of Coromandel! Such a natural beauty you guys have at Coromandel, it has beaches and rainforests at the same time. That Cathedral Cove is really a feast for the eyes! 😍
Hey guys glad you enjoyed the video coromandel is definitely a top spot to visit here in New Zealand. Hope you get the chance to visit yourselves one day 😊🌿🇳🇿 and feast on all the beauty hahaha
Hey guys there are a couple of hot water fissures all throughout the coromandel area hence why the lost springs is hot too 😁👌 o yea muscles are the best can eat 50 no problem so good!
So what was in the back of the cupboard?😜🤣Great vid guys and definitely a blast from the past for us with some of these locations. Coromandel is awesome, spent a lot of time down there during teens and early 20's, but guess we were lucky to be doing that back when friends and family always knew someone who had a bach or beach house for us to crash at down there for free and there was certainly no seasonal parking times or paid parking at a beach 😱. Still, definitely one of those areas we visit when we are home even if just for a weekend so. Really interesting to see how much some of those locations have changed.
Same with me! Only it was my early teens that I would go to friends bachs in that area. Making fires by the beach chilling at night it was good times. Couldn't believe the paid parking lol that's a shock for us too. 😂 I've always wanted to do movie references in our intros this was the perfect opportunity 😁👍
Loved watching this and getting to follow along again! The energy in this one was awesome, would love to visit Coromandel. Great tips! Stef and I have New Zealand in our top 3 for international travel coming up, this is just another reason why we wanna go! Love the AirBnB and wow that hike looked incredible! No better way to end with a foodie feast!
Oooo wonder what your other two top destinations are 🤔😁 glad y'all enjoyed the episode this was an awesome trip. Coromandel is a special place and we always enjoy going there to unwind 👍😊❤🇳🇿
Details can turn a good thing great and that was certainly the case with dawn's Airbnb. The moment we saw it lit up at night we were like wow. The wow kept coming as we explored the place and reached an all time wow peak when dawn came out and showed us a goodie bag and fire place 😁❤ miss this place
Hahaha glad you got the movie reference 😂✌ still on the fence for whether or not we should continue acting out movie references cause looking back this felt major cheesy 😂😂😂
Hi Walker thanks for dropping by and leaving us a comment 😁✌ glad you enjoyed the video. Sometimes we forget about coromandel for a while and then we remember and yup that's our weekend sorted hahaha. Enjoy your trip if you go only a few more warm weekends left 😎🌿
Love spring it’s such a beautiful place 😍 So many great attractions worth to visit. Can’t believe it’s very quiet there. Thanks a lot for showing us such an incredible places ☺️
A lot of the more rural New Zealand places are very quiet even though they are spectacular as most tourists head only to queenstown and Milford sound or Auckland. It's pretty cool for us local kiwis though cause we get the spots free of crowds hahaha. Thanks for watching!
Heya Santo thank you! Glad you're enjoying our content it means a lot to us that you stopped by to let us know that ❤👍 if you're ever in Auckland never know maybe we can grab a pie together 😁
Hehehe thanks Naz ❤❤❤ it's an awesome community we have on TH-cam. Genuinely feel like we have found such an awesome bunch of people with similar interests 😁

Hahaha Tony you are too kind bro. But honestly we only do it for the ppl I would want yen and I to always be sponsor free and TV free. It helps keep things genuine. Coromandel is the best so many memories here 😊✌
I love the walk through intro, I was then expecting Asland to come out. I had never heard of a hot water beach before, was it similar to a hot springs?
Hey bro glad you got the Narnia reference hahaha 😁👍 it is pretty similar in that the hot water occurs naturally through fissures underground. One of the benefits of living in a country with a ton of volcanoes 😅✌
I've notice NZ food are expensive compared to Australia. In Melbourne we get fresh local produce mussels meal for half of what you guys pay but saying that your meals loos amazing!
Hahaha Peter really likes mussels but I can't eat molluscs ay 😅😅 texture creeps me out and the thought of eating a whole creature I think lolol 😂 I reckon you and Peter def got more similar food tastes! The adventurous kind 😁👍👍 haha thanks for rewatching this video hun! ❤️🙂

This is an awesome travel guide. Transportation, eats, amenities, and accommodation! Hot water beach sounds a spot I could just chill and hang for daysss haha. Outdoor hot springs sounds relaxing too. I have only been to indoor ones here in the pacific northwest. Awesome video guys! One day I will visit
Hey bro glad you enjoyed the travel guide. Coromandel is an awesome place and we've been back there so many times. You need to time hot water beach during low tide if you do visit 😊👍
Wow!!! Great video. I love the hot water beach. I'll put that on my list!📄📄📄📷🎬📺
Hey Nemith thanks and glad you enjoyed the video. Hot water beach is a cool spot actually it's kinda hot 😂 but can be a lil crowded. Have fun digging 😁👌
Oh hahahaha!! Love the Narnia moment guys!!!! Super cheesy but love it!!!
Hahaha I'm guessing this is sue! You got the Narnia reference yaay 😁👏👍 we were thinking when we were filming this it's too weird no one's gonna get it 😅
YOOo that transition at the beginning was so lit! Great to see you guys loving life
Hahaha yeah that's our homage to Narnia since it was shot at cathedral cove. Enjoying life is definitely what we love to do can't get enough of it 😂😎👍
Hi I'm a new subscriber.
Didnt realise that was such an awesome pl. Must try make it some day .
Let's go on a family fun time road trip mum 😁❤
sounds good my dears.
Hi Rex thanks for sharing your childhood memories here sounds like an awesome house 🏠👍
Man this was a beautiful place to go, the airbnb place was really comfy and i think you need to share your man cave peter heheh 😉
Hahaha yo guys what happened no first place comment this week! No sharing the man cave ever 😂
I slept in!!! 😅😅
😂
The place where Peter was flexing his guns unintentionally with the man cave and hot water pool looks amazing. Like a little resort with patches of exotic adventures!
I like it "unintentionally" 😂😂😂 the lost springs is the bomb though if you're ever in New Zealand check it out for sure!
This place really beautiful. I really enjoy watching the scenery. Big LIKE from Singapore. Have a nice day.

*got our like 👍fully watched 👀 AU🌟supported😁*
Coromandel is a spot most Aucklanders know well but many tourists would overlook. Lost springs should definitely go on your bucket list if you visit. We've hung out the whole day there just eating and chilling out by the pool it's magical. 😅🤞 no cyclones blow off into the ocean somewhere please
Love your roll in Peter!! 😆
We brought in all the techniques we've learnt along the way for this episode 😂👌
The Thai restaurant seemed pretty good. Nice to have that in somewhere that seems somewhat remote.
It really is a nice welcome treat in such a small town. I remember back in the days most of these towns only had a bakery and a fish and chips store hahaha. Come a long way now 👌
Loved the intro guys, you need to teach me how to teleport! 😂 Cathedral Cove looked beautiful and green! 🌿🌲 What a lovely Airbnb!
Hahaha glad you liked the intro Chelsea it's inspired Narnia 😊💎 cathedral cove is definitely an epic spot and dawn's Airbnb was just the best. A very magical weekend away 🦎👍

Hi Yvette thank you and thank your friend too hahaha that's awesome. Really glad you enjoyed the video too that's a relief 😂 have an awesome Sunday!
Nice editing at the beginning. I love Coromandel, it reminds me of Maui and the lost springs at Whitianga are so wonderful. Thanks for sharing this nice travel tour.

Hope you get the chance to visit yourselves one day 😊🌿🇳🇿 and feast on all the beauty hahaha
lol the hot water beach. What makes the water hot? Oh man, those mussels 😍Thanks for sharing guys
Hey guys there are a couple of hot water fissures all throughout the coromandel area hence why the lost springs is hot too 😁👌 o yea muscles are the best can eat 50 no problem so good!
@@PeterandYen ahhhh that explains it 👍
So what was in the back of the cupboard?😜🤣Great vid guys and definitely a blast from the past for us with some of these locations.
We’d love to do a Goodbye Pork Pie roadtrip - the original and drop all the lines and references as we go 😂
Loved watching this and getting to follow along again!
That Airbnb was awesome.. the fire, the little touches .. I love this vid guys.. those pools and springs look divine ^^ N
Yum paprika! It goes so well with fried food too
Paprika the magic spice goes well with so many different dishes 👌🥇
Peter and Yen Definitely! It turned this great souvlaki in Athens into amazing - truly magic. Went twice in large part because of it hahs

Love spring it’s such a beautiful place 😍
So many great attractions worth to visit.
Hi.. always like ur videos 😘 hope someday can meet up u guys
Heya Santo thank you! Glad you're enjoying our content it means a lot to us that you stopped by to let us know that ❤👍 if you're ever in Auckland never know maybe we can grab a pie together 😁

Thank you for dropping by and leaving us a comment! Coromandel is an awesome spot glad you enjoyed the video 😁👍
You 2 need to pitch your channel to a local network over there guys. Its well staged and edited peter😊 miss that spot
Hahaha Tony you are too kind bro. But honestly we only do it for the ppl I would want yen and I to always be sponsor free and TV free. It helps keep things genuine. Coromandel is the best so many memories here 😊✌
If you do another Coromandel video, check out Blue Ginger in Whitianga, and Luke's Kitchen in Kuaotunu. Both worth the drive!!!
Thanks for the recommendations 😁🙌
I love the intro.. I get it.. the wardrobe ^^
Ding ding ding you guys are the first ones to nail it hahaha 😁👍
I love the walk through intro, I was then expecting Asland to come out. I had never heard of a hot water beach before, was it similar to a hot springs?
Hey bro glad you got the Narnia reference hahaha 😁👍 it is pretty similar in that the hot water occurs naturally through fissures underground. One of the benefits of living in a country with a ton of volcanoes 😅✌
@@PeterandYen that's true as long as they don't go off its all good
😂 true!
any idea when will cathedral cove be open again?
Omg that Airbnb!
I know right so cute and interesting. It was also the cheapest Airbnb of that size. Undiscovered gem!
I've notice NZ food are expensive compared to Australia. In Melbourne we get fresh local produce mussels meal for half of what you guys pay but saying that your meals loos amazing!
😅 yeah eating out in New Zealand is definitely on the pricier side but as you say it tasted delicious so all is ok 😁👍
Eat it to believe it!
Hahaha guys thank you for picking that up. I was pretty chuffed when I created that line 😂
Good job ❤
this popped up today...haha you need to reintroduce the ninja roll for the intro in your upcoming videos...
😂😂😂 true... haven't done one of those in a while
Have u been to the secret water whole it's super fun
We haven't unfortunately! Where abouts is it? Must be a pretty good secret 😁
amazing channel!
Thank you glad you enjoyed the channel 😁👌 appreciate you leaving us a comment ❤
