I wired the black and black together and the reds with each other on each side, but the reflector only lights when I press the brake, not when the headlights are turned on. There's no running lights, how do i fix it
For some reason mine just stay 100% bright. Don't change when hitting the brakes or anything. They're brighter than the running brake lights lol. Any ideas? Thanks!
@@ColtonRichter I grounded the black. Then did white to purple and red to orange. But I'm a wiring noob so I wouldn't be surprised if they're somehow wrong. I think it's because I'm not tapped into the running lights which is inside the dang housing on these factory led tail lights.
@@ColtonRichter I actually happened to find one right after I left this comment LOL, I have the corksport intake in and I've ordered a performance MAF sensor and now thinking of getting that spacer. maximizing airflow I guess, curious to see if these 2 litres are capable of any power at all. Obviously much more work to be done to it
Why don't you put something to try and protect the wire where it pinches. I was thinking maybe electrical tape or better yet, get those door edge guards they sell at the parts store. Then you'll be a-ok and should be able to run it like that without having to re-wire it.
I live in Ontario - drive the same colour Mazda. Same year too.

Red's gonna' go to the odd color out
So orange wire goes with white wire for signal. Them black wire goes with black or red wire? I’m a noob
Black with black, but I forget the red and white wires. I'm sure there's a forum write up on it somewhere, sorry man lol

Recheck wiring, make sure you connected to the switch wire properly.

Sounds like you tapped into constant power or got your wires wrong

Do you know of any throttle body spacers for the 08 2l mazda 3?
I believe those may be a thing on TH-cam, i've heard about them!

Too messy for me, going to run through the trunk grommets and do it a bit more cleaner
@@ColtonRichter I feel that. Good luck man
