Covering Oblivion might have been the most fun I have had creating a cover so far. True Story
Yesterday i had to fix a pipe in a Market Garden and on my break i decided to connect my mobile with my wifi speakers and start listening to this on repeat (and loud i thought i am alone).
And all of a sudden some of the female Gardeners entered the basement where i was working and started to ask: "Who is this?" "What is this?" "Oh my this is beyond beautiful"
And later on i noticed that they were start listening on their mobiles to Floors other covers and Nightwish songs..
Best day at work i ever had.

@@mannyb.7829 I must admit I am relistening to Kaela and now to Susanne the Extended Mix and I will not judge. All three are a joy to listen to. M83 is one of the bands I want to see live on a festival. But they don´t visit the Netherlands or Belgium in ages. Only a few years ago in a German Tech festival.

These and many other questions must be answered or what clue do we really have of our own identity and that of all other sentient living beings??

5 years ago I lost my wife to cancer. She was a classically trained opera singer and vocal teacher. For 25 years I listened to her sing and teach young vocalist from every part of our home. I miss that a lot. Listening to you sing anything, brings that back to me. Tears to my eyes always. I'm 61 years old and not afraid to admit that. If you would like to cover the song Via Dolorosa at some time that would be great. Cried every time my wife sang it. Please keep singing, the world needs more of that now. Thank you for your beautiful voice.

Maybe it is just me, but I thought the vocal track was just a fraction muffled - as in 'not bright'. The music should back the vocals, not the other way around. But it was a visual treat and I'll be watching it again on people's reaction videos.

Wow, you sure struck a cord with my wife and me!!!! With this performance we discovered something new. We know there are tears of sadness, tears of joy, tears of gratitude, accomplishment and success, but we've experienced tears of stunning grandeur. We discovered you and Nightwish as we entered our 70s three years ago and have become very passionate fans, but we've never experienced these wonderful tears until today. Everything about this video exceeded our expectations; visuals, mixing, arrangement, instrumentation, background vocals (you?), and your obviously pure enjoyment in what you do SOOOOO WELL. We don't comment on each video, but we sure do watch and ENJOY each one. Love and best wishes from a couple of senior citizens in Arizona, USA.

So my father is 72 years old, never listened metal or any sort of rock music in his life. Lately I have been playing lots of heavy music, especialy Nightwish since 2013 😉.
I will only say that he is your No 1 fan now.

Hi, i agree with you and it's nice to read that your father is fan of metal music... for too many years... heavy metal music it's been rejected, discriminated & discarted by too many, because of it's music sounds and vocals... which to be honest, comes from certain themes like depresion, despair, decay, death, apocalyptic times, etc, etc, etc, but it also comes of themes that we daily hear of.. routine life, love, joy, etc.. and it's good to know that with the passage of times, that prejudice it's already gone... i'm also a nightwish fan metalhead from México city and the lead singer Floor Jansen is the best there is at what she does, and what she does is wonderful.. she brings joy, excitement, bliss and all kind of emotions to people who takes the chance to listen at her beautiful voice...
