In this video we do a Road trip to Rotorua where we start off at a geothermal
Creek and had the most amazing morning soaking under the hot waterfalls! Next up we went up the Gondola and had a few Luge rides before ending our time on the mountain with a Skyline Zipline ride! Finally we had the perfect end to the day at the beautiful hot tubs at Secret Spot, where we enjoyed a glass of wine and the gorgeous intimate forest around us x
Rotorua, a town set on its namesake lake on New Zealand's North Island, is renowned for its geothermal activity and Maori culture. In Te Puia’s Whakarewarewa Valley, there are bubbling mud pools and the 30m-tall Pohutu Geyser, which erupts many times daily. It’s also home to a living Maori village and the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, with traditional wood carving and weaving schools.

Hi Teu :) out of all the cities you've lived in Mexico, which had the best combination of rich artistic culture (ecstatic dance, musicians, writers, designers, great restaurant scene, etc) and a fun, large community vibe of Mexicans and local expats in their late 30s-40s for you? I'm 40, I've just arrived in San Miguel de Allende now and am hoping to find my new long term home somewhere in Mexico.
Hi Charity, I would honestly say San Miguel to be honest! I’ve visited so many cities around Mexico and they’re all stunning but there’s something special about San Miguel. It has everything you need from good restaurants, and (before Covid) there were so many awesome art shows and cultural events, festivals weekly! Lots of nice people to meet and can’t beat the weather! I would also say Mexico City but I don’t think I could live in a big city again so it’s great that’s it’s only 3 hours away! Oh and San Miguel is so close to so many other great towns for weekend trips like Queretaro, Bernal, Mineral de Pozos, Atotonilco, Dolores Hildalgo! And the wineries and hot springs are pretty awesome too!!
@@TeuStuff thanks so much for your response 💛 have you found your fun community of late 30s-40s Mexicans and local expats living here in Allende? Suggestions on how I may find them? I made a few fb posts on groups here and mostly had senior retirees tell me my age range doesn't live here.
@@charitybryant8089 haha they definitely do!! Ok here’s what you do! You have to go to Thursday burger night at ‘The Restaurant’ that’s where lots of young well our age people go ☺️ and ‘Bekeb’ can be good as well as Karaoke at ‘Gamma’ but that can also be quite young but really fun!
@@charitybryant8089 burger night night sound strange but it always turns into a big party and the owner Donny usually does a DJ set there! If you meet him he knows literally everybody in town haha
