That’s a very interesting product. Does your car have Bluetooth & steering wheel controls? I’m wondering if (when connected via Bluetooth) the car steering wheel controls would work. When my phone is paired directly to the car radio the steering wheel controls will skip/pause/play etc.
My car is quite an old BMW x3 but it does have stereo volume controls on the steering wheel, but it doesn’t work the media system. But to be honest that big screen makes it easy to press whatever icon you need.
How can I make the unit stay on after I turn off the engine ? If I have ignition on the screen will turn off. The unit stays on only if the engine is running
Nope it’s built into the unit. If you use the sticky mount instead of the suction mount like I did, then you’ll have a clear view, plus you’ll have more stable footage.
Does anyone know how to stop it from recording when you turn on the car? i only want to use my dash cam for long trips. It's quite annoying having to constantly delete videos

You can always hardwire it but you will run your battery down.
Any issues with seeing the screen with polarised sun glasses?

No need to delete manually, the previous videos will be automatically overwritten when the memory is full.
