To everyone asking me "Are these Pokemon legit?".
Yes they are.
You are only hacking back into the event and you are NOT modifying the Pokemon in anyway. So its like if you were able to do the event as it was new vs hacking a Pokemon into your PC or party. There is away to make it so the date is not messed up which I didn't find out till later. Even that WONT make the Pokemon not legit because DS and the 3DS have clocks you have to set yourself. So you could get a Pokemon with a different, a date from the part or just a weird date in general and that would still be fine. All of these Pokemon can be transferred to HOME.
With that being said:
You CAN use PKSM to edit Pokemon stats & other properties.
If you did do this, you the Pokemon MIGHT still be legitimate and can still get into HOME. BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS IF YOU ARE TRYING TO PLAY COMPETITIVE CAUSE THAT MIGHT GET YOU BANNED IN TOURNAMENTS (HOME doesn't care if stats are hacked and won't ban you for this from what I've seen).

so glad i found this! i remember when the shiny silvally event was happening, i got the card so i could put the code into the game, but i left the cartridge for sun at a place i wouldn't be getting the game until the EXACT day after the event ended...
Thank you so much, I had an event Manaphy that I got in 2015 that I lost cause my brother decided to start a new save and overwrite mine, making me lose EVERYTHING. I just started playing again after a 9 year hiatus and I'm so glad I can grab these event pokemon once more, you're a lifesaver
Just tested and was able to reclaim all events succesfully on my physical copy of Ultra Sun!
I also kept changing the dates on Settings so it would match the dates I got on another game, so cards look just as authentic as they could be.
Thank you so much for sharing this, I can finally be at peace now that I was able to grab all of those mons.
By the way you can also use pksm as a alternitave to pokemon bank since its now closed. You can also use twilight menu ++ to play your roms that you copy from your cartridge like hgss black white b2w2 and use pksm to edit those saves and bring the pokemon all from even gen 1 to usum
Whatever you do don’t inject a foreign Pokémon😭I learned that the hard way, it’ll cause your language to change in the game. I don’t know if putting the “ADAPT LANGUAGE TO WC” to NO caused this issue or not. But I had to restart over😭😭 (didn’t have a back up save file)

i did it and it's working! question: can i inject multiple events at a time, or should i collect each one after i inject it?
EDIT: oh also the events are coming in with a date met of 1/1/2000. Will that flag anything or cause any problems?
Date met shouldn't cause problems from my experience.

Honestly I should of showed how to download the CIA as well but I figured that the camera method might of been easier for most folks. Glad you were able to download it!
It worked fine for pokemon black and white, but for some reason I need a WEP code for the older games? What’s a WEP code?
I think its the old security system of internet providers. You have to set up an unsecured hotspot via an android phone and connect to that. Worked for me

I did everything you described. When I tested the connection, it turns red, then green, then red again. Then I get the Error Code 52102. It won't work on my 2ds or my DS Lite. I'm using an android phone.
This is for 3DS homebrew and this is NOTHING to do with Internet connection outside of downloading a file. I think you are looking at the wrong guide
So can we import pokemon events from other countries
I'm not 100% sure cause I've never tested it personally but other people in the comments have said you can but I'd take it with a grain of salt. Do it at your own discretion.
Does my 3ds have to be connected to WiFi for this to work?
As I say at 0:18 , no you do not need to connect your 3DS to any wifi to get this to work.
What do I do if my pksm says “always make sure your connected to the internet and on the latest version”
@@justinzippo7772 You do not get the event from Mystery Gift, you skip that step and go straight to the Pokemon center

I don’t know if you found out by now, but Marshadow isn’t transferrable to Scarlet and Violet.

Has anyone tried testing to see what happens if you transfer a Pokémon holding an item into a game where the item doesn't exist (e.g. Diancite in X and Y)?
hi, well I got some pokemon from events back in UM (cartridge) (and changing the meeting date to the dates of the events) but when I want to transfer them via Bank it says that the online services are restricted, aka maybe ban. The strange part is that I can access to the eshop without problem. So Why does that happen? and if you can help me to reverse it please
I'm not sure cause I've never had this issue with Bank before. I doubt its a ban though, I think it might be down for maintenance or something. If that keeps happening Im not too sure if I can help you, sorry.

hey so i tried to use the checkpoint app to use cheats but pokémon ruby keeps crashing everytime i try to use them! is there any way i can fix that to help me find shinies?

This won't work with Citra and even then if you are on Citra, you could just inject cheats to do this which is a lot easier.

thanks for the video! i have one question, it seems that for XY the date received always defaults to 1/1/2000 which kinda bugs me
do you know if it is safe to use PKSM to edit the date to a "real" one (like the period of actual distribution), would sending to Home cause any issue for the mon or my account?
So far i claimed events on Moon and that one actually takes your console date so i changed it before claiming events, but XY seem to not do it for whatever reason
I know there is away to change the date of the recieved event BEFORE this, so when you do get it the date isnt 1/1/2000 but I forget how to do this offhand. If I remember I'll at least make note of it for other people

Did you make sure inject the right event and make sure to save the file afterwards? I show this working with Heartgold and Black in this very video.
I only ran into 1 problem the gardevoirite freezes my game
@aidaniscol nope, it was only the gardevoirite, and now there's also a blank space that freezes the game if I land on it while scrolling slowly

If you are having that issue then I'd recommend going to the webpage and downloading the CIA file and then do a manual install.

I am pretty sure you can but I havent tested it myself. I do know that PKSM will detect those games if they are on your 3DS

Can I do this for my Japanese copies of HeartGold and Black 2 as well? Or is it like with the GBA ones where if I use a JP copy, my data gets corrupted?
You can do this with Japanese copies and other regions too. That GBA method I show in the other video is different and effects the save file differently than this does

How can I get homedrew for my 3ds without computer?
There is no way that I am aware of to homebrew a 3DS without a PC. Sorry
Depends on the method used (and current system firmware version). When I was modding mine on 11.04.0-37E, it allowed using Android or IOS too as it was just downloading files from websites and dragging and dropping the files into the SD card (though I just used a Windows PC). But others may require programs to be run or other things, so just check your firmware version on the official guide and it should tell you and walk you step-by-step 😊
I pressed the Start button to inject, but where i find these Pokemon in the game now? I'm playing Pokemon Y
As I show in the start of this video, they are with an NPC in the Pokemon Center. This has been the case for every game expect for the Gen 4 DS games.

They pass the check (I have transferred these Pokemon forward even) because you are only spoofing the event itself and not hacking the Pokemon at all.

I think it only works on cartridge DS games not digital
Nvm it works you just gotta do a workaround press x, go to misc, click Extra Saves, go to DS and click on your game with A to add save, go to rom folder, then nds folder, click on saves, and find your pokemon game and click on it, now that it’s saved go all the way back to where you started, press y go to your game again and click A to load it

Hello! Just to make sure if I want to get legit pokemons and tansfer them to pokemon bank/pokemon home, I'll have to inject Event Items in order to obtain pokemons? rather than injecting the pokemon themselves.

You dont actuly need to hack to trigger the eon ticket event, aslong as you get a streetpass hit with someone who has the ticket you will unlock it, happend to me back in highschool but the odds of that happening are slim next to none

After using PKSM it doesn’t let me connect to Pokémon Bank. How can I fix this?
I have never had that problem so I have no idea. I use it pretty often and it never stops me from using Bank so it might be something else causing that.

@@bread6271 You can gen your own Pokemon and make them legal if you want to. There's a checker in PKSM that'll let you know if the Pokemon you made can be transferred to HOME. If you use these genned Pokemon for official tournaments they might have a different way to detect them so I encourage you NOT to use them in official tournaments.

I have home brew installed but it says qr code fail
If the QR code fails you can download it and then install it as a CIA on your 3DS instead. The link to the download is in the description.
This is legendary. Been doing new leaf save editing for a while so now i can do this with my pokemon games, awesome. Although i have most of the 3ds events already lol i’ll just get duplicates

I mean, I made that very clear in the title. I know Pokemon fans, sometime in the future, are trying to make it like the DS games where you can use a DNS code to get these Mythicals. But for now this is the only way I'm aware that you can get them legitimately. My apologies for this.
