Hi Sophie, wow beau-ti-ful yarns, bags and notions. Your poet shawl and lite bright shawl are gorgeous 💖. I hope Fiona is better soon sending her some healing vibes 🫂 xx
Hi Sophie, send all our best wishes onto Fiona for a speedy recovery. All your new dye sets are amazing, but please, please do make sure that you are allowing yourself some down time too. Sounds as if you have a very busy time coming up xx
So sorry that Fiona is unwell. I hope she is soon better. Sophie, you may have forgotten how to crochet but you’re an excellent dyer. I love your colours so much that I ordered a few yesterday! Unfortunately my family expect me to feed them or I would buy all your colour-ways!
I live in Calgary. It is an amazing drive from Vancouver (the Canadian Vancouver) through the Rocky Mountains to Calgary. From Portland to Seattle and north to the Canadian border is also beautiful but it is 8 lanes of traffic. I would check to make sure what the border regulations are if you will be bringing products with you that you intend to sell for commercial profit in Canada. You may need to pay import duties and/or GST (general sales tax) on the value of goods you are importing to Canada.......
Oh yay!!! 🌸 I’m making an Alpine Bloom Tee right now!! My goal is to finish in time to wear to Flock Fiber Festival!!! If I see you there, I hope we get to take a picture together in our Alpine Bloom Tees! I know another knitter (Ashley of Goose and Ghost Knits) who just finished hers and we’re planning to meet up at Flock, too! What fun would it be to have a meetup of all the Alpine Blooms at the festival! 🤩
Oh and I pre-ordered the Flock bags! 🎉 Fingers crossed they make it across the pond in time for the festival, lol 😂 I didn’t want to risk them selling out at Flock before I could get them. 🌸🌹💖
It is a 2 day drive from Seattle to Calgary, so food, hotels, car rental, and gas, plus the high mileage on the rental car, and the drop off fee for leaving an American car in Calgary, plus import fees for your products you intend to sell in Canada, National Park entrance fee (unless you intend to drive all the way through without stopping in which case a permit is not required) etc etc will be an expensive trip. You could do a marathon drive in 1 day but with holiday tourist traffic, the border crossing, stopping for fuel and food, highway construction, etc it would probably be at least a 14-16 hour drive, possibly more. A beautiful drive you will never forget though! Looking forward to seeing you at Knit City Calgary....😂
I have a request. What is that beautiful sweater that is behind you to the right of you. The one right next to the plant. It is pink and short sleeve. I have looked all through your instagram and Ravelry pages for information but can’t find anything. Thank you. Love your colors and can’t wait to purchase from you
