    always try to start at the most centered card, then play within 5 connectable locations to that card. that's it

      True the center has the most possible ways to make sequences, but I have found it best to simply play where your cards allow. Sometimes you will have one card in the center but 3 other cards in a row somewhere else. You have to play what you have been dealt and get to the end first. It is a race to 5.

    What I have found works best is to prioritize building a sequence first, then start blocking at the later stages of the game. Play near the center of the board as your cards allow. Try to make multipurpose plays where new opportunities for building sequences open up, while also blocking. Remember this is essentially a *race* to build a sequence first. Play tokens/cards that get you closer to a possible end before others. Good luck.

    7:02, you could have won with 9 club diagonally, but decided to block instead, why?

    You have not looked to see if your jacks are one or two-eyed so you can pull one of your opponents tokens off the board.

    Why didn't you put the four of clubs on the other spot?
    1) There you had the 5 of diamond at an echelon line
    2) The 6 of spades downwards in a vertical line from the 5 of diamond
    3) The 7 of diamond on the horizontal line of the diamond 5 and then you would have it connected to the diamond 10 above in a vertical line and even have the 7 of diamond connected to your 6 of spade in an echelon line..
    Your cards would now be more connected and have more possible directions of how the following cards (drawn) could be played. No tips or tricks in your video IMO, not even good strategy. I also disagree with organizing your cards by suit. Sometimes several suits are connected in a sequence and you should always think several plays ahead to see if you have cards or what cards you need to finish a sequence in all directions of the card laid down. So, you should organize them by how they are best played (what card connects to another, in which order you are going to play them etc.). So if a card connects to several of your cards, organize it in a way that it connects with either as many as possible of your cards or how it connects best (for instance if the cards connect tightly on the board, since this usually allows for several directions of sequences faster).
    The card you start to play should always be a card that is connected to most of your other cards dealt at the start and that gives you the most/best possibilities of getting a/several sequence(s).

    Why would you play your One-eyed jack when you have a two-eyed jack to create a second sequence and win! Have no idea why you did that.

  • @jessbee4571
    @jessbee4571 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Help resolve a dispute please. Do you draw a card after using a one eyed Jack? The rules say “your turn ends” and my aunt says you can’t draw afterwards because of that rule.

    • @Nick-Dragrus
      @Nick-Dragrus 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. As long as you play a card, you get to draw a card after. I believe when the rules say "your turn ends" it's saying that the "removal of token" is your move and you can't play a token in the same turn (which is fair, else the one eyed Jack is such a broken card). Hope this helps!

    In a real game, when green has 4 in a row you MUST use a wild card to remove or block, correct?

    1. After removing a chip using one-eyed jack, can the chip be reused? Or will the game continue without the removed chip?
    2. When 3 players play the game, is each team given 35 chips?
