In 1981 I bought a new Red Mustang T-Top Hatchback with louvers, Pacific model. In 94, I bought a 94 Mustang GT Convertable, Teal and Black. I traded in my 91 Blazer to get it.
I also have an 83 GT. I like it because it has no sunroof or T-Tops. It also has no factory AC. The front seats have the mesh halo headrests and it has a black interior. The 5.0 has the cool finned valve covers and the dual snorkel air cleaner. Its t5 shifts well. I swapped out the iron exhaust manifolds for 86-93 factory shorties and have an H pipe and double hump crossmember on it now. A Holley list 1850 sits in place of the factory 4180 carb. My plan is to put the pace car hood and front bumper on it to recreate the look of the 81 Cobra. My 83 front bumper cover is torn and I got a good deal on the pace car bumper and hood. I still need to round up the spats for the front of the fenders to integrate the fenders into the pace car nose.
@@sbf_fox2434 I am glad you got that front end nose. The early mustang 82-86 are hard to find body parts, including fender spats, and the most desired 82 FORD MUSTANG GT front bumper cover.
It is really beautiful. The front end clip really makes that 1981 Cobra. I love seeing it on a 85-86 notchback. Those front bumper clip for 1981 Cobra are hard to come by because of the low number of production.

Metric tires 😐 I remember trying to find freaking tires for my 1982 GT in the early 1990’s. What a beat down brah

Hey what's up with project sandbox?
One question. Can I fit a 1985 hood and 4 eye bumper on a 1982
Love my 83gt
Awesome! Thanks you for commenting. 83GT are lovely and lighter too.

@ 1:34 it's "G-ee-ya," ("G" as in "Good") not "Jee-ya." Nice video though.
I think the 1981 Cobra is the best looking fox body.

@@mcscgreenwheels The 79 Pace car seems to use the same clip.

The 80-81 Cobra was a monotone Pace Car with a crummy V8 Engine.
@@scarbourgeoisie But it looked good.
