I appreciate some of your presentations. However you must realize you are an individual foreign VISITOR.You are not even a journalist. So please don't indulge to criticize the internal affairs and policies of Ethiopia, which is a no-go territory. BEWARE.
As you know cities like Nairobi or Addis Abeba do have an urban planning that sets zoning laws that implements the best land use. Since most buildings did not always follow the zoning rules, you see all these unplanned urban sprawls next to high rise buildings who were not built as per the zoning laws. Since it was not corrected in the last two and three generations, what you are seeing now is around the clock catch up work which has to continue for a long time before it leaves a pattern to be sustained. I am an Ethiopian civil engineer who lives and works abroad and excited to witness something I was hoping to see for a long time. Thanks for your efforts to show us what is going as a good neighbor and friend.
Why you didn't present the meskel the founding of the true Cross festival held 3 days ago? It's one of the biggest religious & cultural events in that country, which registered as a UNESCO cultural heritage. I wonder how you miss that event in Addis where millions of Ethiopians & foreigners celebrate it .
