Omg Project Mons outdid themselves I didn't expect any other language than the ones they use in the normal fansongs they make, but they used French since Fontaine was inspired by France, and I found that really cool that Project Mons did that.
It's worth noting that 水的女儿 (Daughter of the Water) was the original Chinese name of the play in Furina's story quest before it was localised to "A Little Oceanid"... it's a nice reference
The lyrics are genius, they capture her hopes and struggles perfectly. The music and vocals are absolutely beautiful and the art and visuals are so soft and stunning. Overall this is a masterpiece😭

0:40 water can be a mirror. where is focalors mostly presented? 0:55 is a reference to The Little Mermaid. In the story, the mermaid sacrifices herself for her lover. This is because Focalors sacrificed herself for Fontaine. 1:45 A receptacle is a hollow space. "Of injustice, the receptacle" refers to the fact that she used to be the symbol of justice, but is now the complete opposite.
Fontaine Archon and World quests have several aspects of Honkai main story focusing on Seele, more specifically dual ego and rebirth. Neuvillette, Furina, and Focalors have several qualities of Seele, both light (original, later on Herrscher of Rebirth) and dark (Veliona). Masquerade of the Guilty gave similar aspects/narratives as Dance of Life and Death arc, which involves authority transfers, theory of consciousness retention and form, using loopholes to fool the prophecy and freeing the region from the set laws/rules/prophecy.
