There is a comment on Reddit I like regarding Rin's captain ability. I don't know why this meme about Rin not being a good captain has come about, but it needs to be debunked. Rin was captain of his middle school team. And it's even stated (in his light novel) that by abandoning his own image of scoring, he would bring out the best of the entire team. Since no-one was able to read his movements like Sae, he instead started to match his team and elevate their plays. Which culminated in winning the Youth Championship (the same competition Sae led the team to victory in). Not to mention that during the Selections, Rin was the player who got the most out of his teammates besides maybe Isagi. And then again, during the U20 game, it was his initiative that led to the Blue Lock 11 breaking through the U20 defense, when the rest of the team were stumped. It was his initiative that halted Sae and Shidou's offense, when the rest of the team were resigned to getting rolled over. And it was his initiative that led to the final game winning shot for Isagi, when the rest of the team (Karasu included) wanted to stall and hang on to the draw. Rin routinely inspired the team to perform, at different stages. In fact, it was Rin who inspired Isagi to continue trying to devour him, when he told him that their "distorted relationship" was how it should be and he should continue. And it's not the only example of Rin both verbally and physically prompting higher performance levels from his teammates (Nanase, Isagi, Aryu, Tokimitsu, Igarashi, Hiori are all examples of players Rin has drawn out more from). Rin is literally a proven captain, with multiple wins (and a championship) under his belt and multiple teams that have improved as a direct result of his influence. At 16 lmao. Man didn't do all that for this disrespect. Karasu would be a good captain, sure. But he wouldn't be a better captain than Rin. The only captain candidate on Rin's level is probably Aiku (who I'd give the edge over Rin). Other than that, Rin is a more qualified captain than any of the rest of them.
Season 2 light spoiler the reason Rin being the captain was because as Ego said this attacking focus team would revolves around either Rin or Shidou, so his duty as a captain is to lead the attack while the others do their things around him, and as seen in the results he did well being involved in every goals

I was wondering when you started learning and how experienced you are?; I've just started recently and am thinking it might be easier to learn hiragana/katakana along side/more so than just speaking on duo lingo, any tips? (｡◕‿◕｡)
Ah I've actually never properly learned Japanese so I'm not experienced at all😅 I've watched anime in Japanese dub since I was a small kid so I'm able to understand simple sentences and common phrases. As for lessons, I've also never taken any. I did speedrun the duolingo course a while back (I did that for multiple different languages cause I was bored) but I think the app is not great for learning grammar. Personally I find TH-cam videos to be very helpful especially the ones that guide you with little drawings. You can just search up "Japanese for beginners" or "JLPT N5" and a bunch of super long videos would pop up. I also think it is super important to be very used to hiragana before learning anything else.

Right now I'm using Duolingo to simply get me into it, but the more I use it, the more I can tell it's not the most effective way of learning, but still a good recap tool tho. Also I think I agree with what you said about learning hiragana, I've decided to learn the writing section before skipping ahead with the speaking as it helps a lot more with learning the sound of each syllable, as per say. I plan on moving onto textbooks/tutors when I sort my work schedule out. Lastly😅..., so when you watch anime in Japanese dub, do you still have English sub to help with translation? Hopefully I can get to the point when I don't have to fully rely on subs. Anyway, thanks again for the help😄🙌

There was a giant screen that played a montage of anime moments with Ego explaining what Blue Lock is. There are also tons of rooms filled with the original drawn manga panels, like an art gallery.
