Very interesting! That's ingenious to have the windows be all different. I really enjoy the history. Thank you!

Absolutely fascinating and I can understand re the small gardens. The detail about the windows must make them unique not only on Arran but in Scotland.

I just found your amazing channel. It should be required viewing. I love the history lessons even though much of it is so harsh. Keep up the great work.

Thank you! Enjoy the channel! History can be harsh, but we will never improve if we don't learn lessons from it!

The row houses are lovely. I wish we could see inside one of them. Such a sad story to them though, but not surprised. Just catching up on your videos so Happy New Year. I hope you are all well. Looking forward to future videos.

Interesting that the twelve houses being called the twelve apostles. In our village, Lhanbryde by Elgin also have the very same twelve apostles. They were build for the landowner, the Earl Fife in the early 1800's. If you are up this area, it is certainly worth a visit.

Aah no! Wouldn't fancy being stranded there with no transport! Everywhere is quite far apart, and anything of interest has a hefty walk into it.
