I'm using the Whitestone dome escudo case, the fingerprint reader is a tight fit but it is a solid case with complete protection including a built on screen protector, honge protection and built in kickstand
I have the Whitestone Escudo and Ghostek Covert case. Both are premium, well designed and protective cases. The Escudo has a built in screen cover that works really well. None of the many cases with built in screen protectors that I have tried have worked 100% flawlessly without turning up the screen sensitivity (which I have never tried). The Escudo and one other for a Z Fold are the ones that have nearly worked 100% with the case's screen protector on. Recently, I tried the Ghostek Covert which has no built in screen cover. I always used to buy cases with a built in cover after many years ago having put one of the plastic screen covers on a phone, finding that it dimmed screen output a bit. These new glass screen protectors I have tried when I used the Ghostek case are fabulous, and I no longer think that built in screen covers are the way to go. Fair warning, Amazon has a banner in the listing for the Whitestone Escudo that says that it is frequently returned, and I can't figure out why, because it is of the very best of the covers I have ever bought for any phone. If you do go with the Whitestone Escudo, I might suggest trying to take out the built in screen covers and using one of the premium glass ones such as what Spigen makes. In any case, if you do not choose to, the built in one is of the best I have ever used.
I would love to see the Petaka case with hinge protection and a kickstand. It would add more bulk but having the magsafe ability (I have an iPhone with lots of magsafe accessories including the battery) would be really nice. Great review!
I like silicone cases for the feel and grip but I’m scared if I buy the porcelain one it’ll get colour transfer from pockets etc, do you know if this is an issue? Thanks.
I have never used the strips as I change covers often. If the case is well designed, it will stay put without them, in my experience. One manufacturer of cases suggests that these adhesive strips are to help keep dust and dirt from getting in. I don't know for sure.
This one looks interesting. Can you test this one? - VEIOEZ for Google Pixel Fold Case Buit-in Screen Protector, Magnetic Hinge Protection,Buit-in Metal Kickstand,Wireless Charging Support (Card Holder Black)
The best case for the Google Pixel Fold is the Ghostek Aramid for $199. It's strong steel and protects well and feels the best in your hand. Looks great too. Some Case makers only care about reliability, and not many also look as great.
@@smokeyfish7435 Insane if you have no money. There's rich people who pay $3000 on a Purse or $2000 on shoes. It's never insane if you can afford it. Only to the broke
@@TechWithBrettTotally agree with you. Had the siilicon case for the iPhone before and it attracted dust in the pockets like nothing else. The Google case handles this very good. ☺️
Bulky + ugly comes hand in hand with most of these cases. Google did a good job with the look and feel with their case. And then there's that $70 Pitaka case...what are they smokin??

Great info though was surprised and bummed not to see Spigen options :(

Im using the Tudia... And its kinda hard ro access the fingerprint reader... Which cases have the easiest access to the fingerprint reader?
How long do the adhesive strips keep some type of stickiness? I lile to changw cases from time to time.

You have to be kind of insane to spend $200 on a case. At that point just pay for insurance on the phone and go caseless

Great Google cases.
Does Google case attract lint like other silicone cases?
Not as much as cases have in the past but today I did have to pull some hair off of it.

Does the google case show fingerprints?
None at all.
@@TechWithBrett thank you sir, appreciate the response and great video

Are there really no good interesting ones? They're all either black or clear.
Did VRS pay you for this?
No, they just sent products to try.
@@TechWithBrett To be fair you did say the in the video, I just missed that part
