Hi, I love the guide. It's everything I've ever wanted from one. Every one that exists is just a stale build order for 30 mins and requires massive amounts of game sense to understand. It's nice to see someone looking out for us casuals out here. Anyways, I was just wondering, why do you place your first house so late?
thanks for the feedback! :) Well typically, I just build the houses when I'm about to need them and hitting the population cap. For example, I'll build the first house when I'm at 5/6 population, 10/11, etc. Until then, I'll keep my villagers doing more useful work! :)
Interesting build, an alternative would be to rush relic instead of altar and if it's a 2v2 game probably more camps by 802 depending on enemy team's clans
Yes, the campaign on extreme plus side missions on any difficulty will get you the warchiefs. But the different townhalls you get by doing the conquest game mode for each clan!
Love the guide, thanks to your build strategy, I can finally use the Raven clan efficiently and not basically soft restart during a blizzard that kills off my population haha
Hi! thank you both for the feedback! Yes, my struggle with raven is precisely food as I explained and sometimes I still get destroyed with blizzards ahaha! :) Altar is not that viable anymore, but personally I keep all the rest of the build order.
No, u just send ur villanger there and he produce stone over time the way to between the stone and the mine has no influence, but still i try to build all aesthetic :)
Yes, it gives less resources now (from +2 to +1 food, wood, crowns, etc). It does scale with your fame (for each 200), so it's less worth it in the early game. Most clans don't use it anymore as it doesn't pay off the investment and many games end by 803 or 804, especially team games.

Is it safe to assume this guide is out dated now? Altar only gives +1 now, so doesn't seem as useful to have until you hit 400+ fame
that's right, altar is not that important now. Essentially, I recomend just skipping the altar and stick to the rest of guide.
what difficulty was this on? When I play, it seems like there's 4-5 enemies in almost every area so I can't expand nearly this quickly

This build is no longer viable due to the altar of kings nerf in the March 2020 update.

Such a nice guide, but as a Warcraft 3 player I almost cried when you didnt micro your first soldier and he died like a dog to the wolf :'(
I'd say he let him die on purpose so he wouldn't have too many heavily injured villagers (=reduced working speed and happiness).

I don't get it, this video is new, but you're still altar rushing, which was nerfed into oblivion months ago.
