Well I just started 1v1 solo for the first time last week, and my kid really loved watching me play and kept asking questions so I just made him an account and told him to go for it. He did the missions, beat the bots and hopped right on the ladder. He's doing well and learning quickly. He has time to play one or two games after school and I watch some of his replays with him as well as you and other youtubers high level play. And today I got a message from another parent asking about the game so there are definitely some new players, some of them very young. I would hope that knowing this people might refrain from writing gratuitous bigotry in the public chat, but since it's the internet it's probably better they weren't aware. There is a word filter but I could care less about cursing versus some of the hatred and xenophobia that get spewed out.
Tried something similar against melters with the imp boat card. I won that game with launcher and wasp summoning & wasp shield. I was losing all the rounds until I had like 4 boats and then had 3 typhoons on the unit drop. Feel like you need to just spam these 'improved' unit cards due to economy.
On my end when it comes to dealing with Melting Points is usually just having a good screen and good burst damage. While melting points may be a giant unit, they are honestly quite brittle, hell even units there suppose to be good against (Life-linked regen Sledgehammers) can simply kill them before they get killed if there a level above. While the splitter beam upgrade may help mitigate it, it only partially does so, it still ain't great against groups units. If your trying to use melting points, having them be front and center of formation is simply a bad plan, there second to third line support specialized for taking down key targets.
Probably a little of both - a few people did end of year "games you should have played" content that included mechabellum. I played like crazy in season 1 but kinda burned myself out early, and just returned to finish season 1/start season 2.
he had a lot of fangs. not sure if the wasps would have been a good pick. maybe range on the sabers and double shot? or as silly as it sounds going for the level 2 storms instead of HE so they do solid damage to bigger units.

yea you usually eventually win with them but the transition to them is hard since they cost so much you don't have money for techs/support units

Loved your Melter labyrinth plays back in the day 😃
melting point more like pelting moint amirite
For real!
I don't even know what this means but I like it
Id not call him passive xD @14:25 he's playing a defensive position actively :)
Woof, ya got rolled that first game.
Interesting games
HE on storms was definitely a mistake. Maybe something like wasps if he has oil or flanks with crawlers.

It seems at round 5 giant is good timing. I've seen too many builds that go with a very specific giant at 5.
Why no missle interceptor upgrade on sabertooths? Would really help on the left flank to counter damage from stormcallers.
Sabertooth intercept is the worst one in the game. It's never worth it
Yeah, jump drive feels pretty bad now. Nice job handling the melters, though
It was just a 50 gold increase, right?
@@David-sd6jx Early game 50 resources make a big difference
Jump drive is amazing with the right pressure behind it to destroy what threatens your air@@David-sd6jx
Game 1, siege scorpions with doubleshot?
I counter Melters with Ignite+range Fangs 🤷♂
Won vs him yesterday with wasps in aggro
And emp arcs
this HD Süßsauer is fake i think, Süßsauer always plays sniper stormcaller. There is no game in tourney that he doesnt play to final round....
like what else do you build against 600 gold garbage cans?
