These guides are so well-made! I love them! I hope you can find the time to make more in the future, I've personally been having a lot of fun with this game.
hey dude, thx for this well made and compact guide! I really appreciate the style of your video :) if you are planning on creating more guides, wolve would be rly interesting :D
Excellent video. Concise and well edited! You clearly have this build practiced and perfected. 1) You didn't have to scout your enemy in the demo. I assume you're letting your allies scout for you. In that case, would you recommend demolishing the scout camp for an extra building slot, and less gold upkeep? 2) I don't really understand why you build your longship dock, use it for a while, then demolish it. Why not just building a trading post instead? Is the lore that important that it's worth the time and wood investment? 3) I find Goat not suited for military because of low happiness and lack of recruitment. If you weren't going for a Domination victory, what other victories do you recommend for Goat?
hi, thanks for your feedback! Great questions! 1) Ideally yes, allies would scout and you could demolish the building to save upkeep. However, I find that is not very common. You'll need to scout yourself when playing solo ffa and also when teammates are not so cooperative :) 2) Valid concern. I struggle with that decision myself, but after several tests I did (in a previous patch), it felt like the extra lore from the dock does help especially during 801 (it's no so much about the gold). In terms of numbers, when I started running the dock I had +2 lore from vills and +2 from the loremaster. The sailors added another +2, to +6 total. So it is significant. In other words, vills and loremaster is +4 lore * 6 (number of ticks) which is the lore per month = 24. Take that *12 gives you total lore per year = 288. With sailors on top that's 6lore * 6ticks * 12 months = 432. That's a difference of 432 - 288 lore = 144 which is more or less one extra lore in end 801. Simplifying and ignoring other variables :) 3) True, it's not as strong militarily as some other clans. I don't find it strong in other victory conditions either because it doesn't have any specific buffs to lore, trade, fame or commercial win. Even if it did, multiplayer games end up being almost totally dependent on our ability to transition to military either for attacking or defending. In some situations, it can be done (raven used to be strong in commercial trade win, boar in lore, etc); but even then, clans need to have some military defense (or rely on teammates). Which is why I see goat as a support economic clan as I mentioned in the video; try to feast a lot for teammates to boost the team's economy so that you can be ahead for military capability. Also, for teamfights, the feast relic works nice for goat for the feast cost reduction and the HP regeneration.
@@cagandacanhao2296 Thank you for your response. My friends and I started playing Northgard 1 month ago, and your videos are the best tutorials on TH-cam. You've taught us so much, so please keep going with the clan tutorials. Your builds are well thought out, and better edited than the rest. We'll be watching all of your content moving forward. here i am finding you today on your raven video. and you are coming back after over 2 months my lucky day! i am going to watch this video! ps thank you i loved your other vids(:
Hello man! Thanks for the guide, i really like the fact that you fast forward it, watch a unedited 1h30min game can be quite annoying. I have some questions and potentially other video ideas: Could you explain how you transition from a military start to another win type? I feel like domination can be quite hard when there are a lot of people in the game. I play Raven, and I saw your video on the clan but i don't really know what to do after attacking one clan with the 10 warrior army. I got a few wins by rushing the relic and harass people with mercenaries and Sons of Hrymrs , but when a clan resists (like Ox), i really don't know how to transition to a trade or loar win. Anyway, your videos are really interesting, i'll subscribe to watch your future guides.
Hey man, come back! Love those guides. Would like to see some updated ones. Is rushing Altar of Kings for other factions like Raven even worth it anymore?
I just downloaded the game and starting of with goat clan. I see you dont put trading posts in food territories like wheat or game, to improve the trade even more with the lore upgrade. What am I missing here?
Well, we start getting negative happiness after 3 wounded units, which wasn't the case in this game. The underlying problem is still the fact the population keeps growing and they demand increasing happiness, which goat has no clan specific ways to satisfy, so it needs to use common methods (brewery, colonizing tiles, baldr's and feeling safe, feasts, etc). In any case, if this game would go on longer I would likely need a healer's hut anyway, but that wasn't the specific cause of lack of happiness. I tried to manage those 3 wounded villagers precisely to not get 4. Typically, we should handle wounded villagers so that they end up dying to wolf attacks at some point. This way, we can delay building healer's hut a little bit. Of course, we don't want to lose too many this way so it's something to manage as best as possible.
Pleaaase come back, your guides are BY FAR the best ones out there!!
Really cool guides :D
Would be VERY appreciated to have these for other clans too =) Thanks!!

no healers?
YOURE ALIVE! 😂👍🏼👍🏼
ah :)
What is the change with alter of kings to make it not worth it for most clans?
we need you brother
can you make a guid for ox?
Where you at my man? ;-;
the negative happines probably because of a lot of people wounded, why not creating a healers hut to heal?
