    New viewer and went through some of your vids but you’re investing advice is pretty good and not many people think about long term holding when it’s in that $75-$150 range

      Thanks for watching and the kind words!! With so many investors, the 100+ price range, you can still find some sets with high demand and slightly less hoarded.

    Like your long term outlook on legos….do you monitor when legos go on back order…i try…supply and demand sometimes can’t always be determined until the set retires…have fun investing..!

    man spot on with everything. I am shocked the AT-TE has been on such a good sale, i think its going to do great. Def agree with ghost being #1, i feel like it is flying under the radar and not a lot of talk about it. Great vid as always friend

    Great informative video as always,thoughts on the UCS Republic Gunship that is on sale in the Uk at £276.00 as it nears retirement.

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      I do like the UCS Gunship at that price. With the higher initial purchase price it's a little more risky for resellers if they were to only have 1 to 5 of them for reselling. I tend to look at what if 1 out of them has an issue like being scammed, what happens to the combined profit of the sales. If you sell them local, I think that's the best bet on just selling 5 or less, that way you do not have a return and/or scam on an online platform. At 276 pounds, selling it local in 3 years you should net about 80 to 100 pounds. Less if you sell it online with fees. That's my opinion on it.

    Great list and the commander Cody wi sell for a lot more than 25 it’s actually selling for a lot more than that right now .

      I didn't know that. Two weeks ago there were some for sale for $17 on BrickLink. We'll see if Lego releases Commander Cody in any other sets over the next few years. The Captain Rex Micro Fighter set could open the door for a Commander Cody micro turbo tank next year.

    Hey man, returning viewer here very impressed with some fresh content. Great to see a fellow investor talking about some true gold mines and not just the ones retiring this year. AT TE is a definite pickup for me, will be trying to be 1 every other month on 20-30% discount until it retires. Quick question; from your honest experience do “overbought” sets which have an increased supply actually harm the ROI of sets which you have bought? Are their any sets which you wish you had bought but didn’t as you labelled them as over supplied? Thanks

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      I think there are several over supplied sets that are destroying ROI right now. The small Batman Tumbler and 66715 Overlord Dragon are good examples. Lego investors used to score big with $30 to $50 sets, but investors have destroyed their value with Lego supplying way to many of them as the investors hoarded them. My biggest regret was the The Phantom 75170 set. I had a chance to buy about 10 of them right before retirement for $19.99 each and didn't do it. Of course in 2023 this set would have been more heavily hoarded. I had no idea what kind of popularity Admiral Thrawn had with Star Wars fans.

    I am deeply concerned about the Ghost. Watching how long the Razor Crest was available as an Amazon exclusive, it gives me real pause.

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      There's always that risk, especially with Lego continuing to expand global production.

    Hi, what's your opinion on the colloseum in this deteriorating lego market?

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      I'm staying away from it. Too risky based on initial price of the set and lack of demand from what I'm seeing.

    • @romankristofic3208

      @@thecollectorinvesting Personally, I hesitate, I have the option to buy it for 400 USD, when it is converted to cubes, it is a very good price, but as you write, I don't see much demand for this - rather only for people who have a bricklink store, but they probably won't buy it either when it will cost USD 600 and above - the cube/price ratio will no longer be so great. But I bought one piece. Of the huge sets still pending this year, I see huge demand for Castle of the Lion Knight, Rivendell, Gringott Bank, Orient Express, Eldorado Fortress, Vikings Village.

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      @romankristofic3208 I think you are right about the BrickLink stores. There's so many more sets that should do better like you mentioned.

      @@thecollectorinvesting I've seen it loaded mainly by people who take it apart in their bricklink shops, colloseum is one of the best sets in my opinion in terms of subsequent sales in bricklink stores. But with the rising price, the demand from these people will gradually go down.

    I agree with your list for everything except what you said about Commander Cody. This is the first phase 2 Commander Cody that we ever got in Lego form and it is a great looking minifigfure and the fans have been asking Lego for 17 years for a phase 2 Cody. I believe Cody is going to really go up in price! I could see him being a $100 figure or more in 3-5 years after retirement provided this version of him does not come out in another set. He is already selling for over $20 now on eBay.

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      If Lego doesn't release him in another set, he's got the potential for sure. For some reason I have a feeling that Lego will release him in another set. As soon as I heard that Captain Rex is coming out in a micro fighter set, there could be a small potential of Commander Cody coming out in a micro fighter turbo tank.

    • @jaywilliams1289

      @@thecollectorinvesting Yeah that's what I said if Lego doesn't release Cody in another set. It is not confirmed yet that the Rex will be the exact same from the $650 Venator set. If it is not the Rex that's exclusive to the Venator will still remain exclusive as long as it is not the exact same figure. The same applies to Cody. As long as it is not the exact same figure it won't hurt the price that much. But in your video you didn't say anything about you thinking Cody will come in another set which is why I commented because if the exact same Cody does not come out in another set he is going to be worth way more than the $20 you said in your video.

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      @@jaywilliams1289 I thought I said $20 to $25, but your right if they don't release another one it should go well above that. I guess I'm just assuming at this point that another Cody will come out between now and about 6 years when I plan on selling it. I have no evidence, but it really seems like Lego is trying to minimize resellers, and putting Cody in another set in the next 6 years would definitely fall in line with that. If Cody becomes a $100 figure, the AT-TE should hit $400 without an issue 5 years after retirement.

    • @jaywilliams1289

      @@thecollectorinvesting Yeah I agree. I hope they don't put the exact same Cody in another set. It is nice to have something exclusive for the high prices we are paying for Lego. That's like Gar Saxon from the Mandalorian Starfighter. If he doesn't come out again he will go to the moon in value. I can't think of a reason why Lego would ever put that version of Saxon in a set and I really hope they don't. They never put another Pre Vizla in another set and look what he is worth today in new condition. I have a couple AT-TE sets and hopefully they keep this version of Cody exclusive at least for a while.

    Are you pivoting away from what you said 2 months ago in the video “The LEGO RECESSION IS HERE…”? There you stated you will be taking advantage of GWPs and selling immediately. Here it seems you are suggesting we should step back and focus on longterm holds. I know these are not mutually exclusive, but I thought maybe some clarification would be beneficial.

    • @thecollectorinvesting

      I've been selling the GWP's immediately, to minimize long-term costs.
