When the characters discuss how to retool "Dueling" into "Dancing" they figure they'll add a framing device of a modern dancer who gets hits in the head with a sandbag and has a dream of being in Renaissance France, letting them use the period sets and costumes. When we finally get to see the end of "The Duelling Cavalier", the characters are _still_ in Renaissance France; there's no "waking up" scene to return to the modern framing device. I miss this kind of Hollywood. No need for shallow sex appeal, just people with raw talent having genuine fun with it. I know that still happens sometimes, but not as often in our modern Hollywood.
Moses would surely have loved this Kelly-O'Connor dance sequence.
King David danced before the Ark of the Lord (2 Samuel 6: 14-22).
I’ve said it before: this guy is getting a private dance show from Hollywood biggest star and his equally talented friend

Moses supposes his toeses are roses
But Moses supposes erroneously
And Moses, he knowses his toeses aren´t roses
As Moses supposes his toeses to be
Moses supposes his toeses are roses
But Moses supposes erroneously
A Rose is a rose
A Nose is a nose
A Toese is a toese
Hupidubidu! (ehehehehe)
Moses supposes his toeses are roses
But Moses supposes erroneously
And Moses, he knowses his toeses aren´t roses
As Moses supposes his toeses to be

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
🤣
They turned this into a bop though.
When you and your buddy promise to study for the final, but get distracted...
Such an awesome scene from such an awesome movie
I imagine this is the exact song that's getting referenced during "A Musical" from "Something Rotten".
"Does it advance the plot?"
"No!"
"Advance character?"
"Not necessarily"
"Then why do it?"
"Because it's entertaining!"
I love how complacent the old man watching is XD
When the class starts to goof up because everyone is tired and bored... It happened this Wednesday in my class.
That "AAAAAAAA" at the end is meme worthy
That poor man's all like "They don't pay me enough for this." 😆
