I saw them in 2018 or 2919 in Denver, Colorado. They were awesome. The vocals, the music, made me cry for happiness, remind me how much 80s music were so great!!!! Hope you will be back to small outdoor venue like the Fiddler's Green.
It’s a shame they left this off the cd cuz it’s one of the highlights of the concert for me. It’s also a great example of a live performance that’s superior to the studio album version.
Curt was asked that question by the radio station he was on after their set and he said he wears shoes with rubber soles because one time before that he did get shocked when they performed in the rain.
Manny Elias Was breaking it down, you can hear R&B chops in those drum rhythms. Everywhere it was funky as heck. People have to remember what a fantastic songwriting crew. Roland Orzibal and Kurt smith are
@@richardbarter9337 In all seriousness, Richard, I totally agree with both of your points. 'Change' was a track that I absolutely loved, the syncopated bass and bass drum are so good!
Not a fan of this live version sorry, the ones in ‘83 are much better. Seems to be at a time when they were a bit up their own arses (sowing the seeds of love and all that) and sounds too jazzy and poppy for me, seems to be like they forgot what the song is about.
Song still goes hard in 2024
I was at this gig, tickets were £30.00 for a line-up that was off the charts. Rained all day ..happy days.....
Curt lookin fine as hell in the rain!! All of them just tearin it up. Shredding it!!
Both Curt and Roland sang even if rain was over them. That's dedication.
It’s not dedication. It’s a contract.
Don't know who the 2 girl backing singers are but love watching them really getting into the music.

@@lourdescarreres9397 Si, claro.
Hence, the reason there are bootleg recordings of live shows. Doesn’t happen as much as it used to

Yep 2022!!! Still amazing tune

Excellent !!!
Top!
Great performance - I'm amazed it was allowed to go ahead and that nobody got electrocuted..!

Roland Orzibal and Kurt smith are
But that wasn’t Manny Elias. It was the late great Jimmy Copley. He sadly passed in 2017. 😢
@lindabelew5579 I was referring to the studio track, to which I don't feel he gets enough credit - but... yes indeed well played
@@woodshed_moments oh yeah, agreed 👍

Who is the other guitarist on stage? Looks a little bit like Bryan Adams. Updated: Now I’ve learned that it’s Neil Taylor…😅
Amo❤
No phones and no drones 👍
Rad!!
I did not have the time to tressure this band
Then get the newest album "The tipping point"
Holy smokes
gotta feel bad for curt and roland for them singing during the rain
Victoria Wood on percussion, great!
She's one hell of a percussionist though and they are a great original band

Wow!
this band is too much show ok 👍😁🎸🎹🥁 🇧🇷👋👋
all they needed was some pale shelter
Was the host of the show the guy in the movie Snatch that had the twin girls who thought he was Jewish? Just wondering.
Whos here in 2030
More engaged crowds back then
Alguém sabe o nome da mulher loira que faz a segunda voz de cabelo curto nessa musica
Salvo engano é Adele Bertei

Great version...if a lil soggy

Chi è la testa de ca220 che ha messo non mi piace a questo capolavoro? LOL
WAIT MANNY ELIAS!?
I made a remastered version. th-cam.com/video/wrY0PEWiRPk/w-d-xo.html
they were young..as teens see clips..'graduate band'...a joke. fire the back up singers..they upstage the stars or try to.
Good leaders let their subordinates shine lol
