But the mastering on their CDs is diabolical. A well mastered CD should have a dynamic range of 12 +. This recent one is 5 😮. No dynamics at all. No subtlety. Just a mush of sound where everything is the same volume. Listening on headphones is headache inducing. Nasty
My favorite band ever, changed my life. Whenever I fall into my depressive episodes I listen to them and they help me view the world as beautiful again, as if they reach out their hands and pull me out of that dark place. Thank you Tears for Fears for everything💙
Absolutely love Tears for Fears Woman in Chains Sowing the Seeds of Love Everybody Wants TRTW Great classic hits I love that they are still around All the best! All the best Jimmy Kimmel, Guillermo, team!
Here's a band (that I have loved for years) that hasn't solely rested on the laurels of a couple of great 80s hits (that are still relevant). They continue to produce exceptional new music, have really honed their live performance chops and are definitely relevant in 2024!! Keep it up!!
Been a fan since Songs from the Big Chair. They are consistently excellent and completely underrated in my opinion. Talent always stands the test of time.
Aww this is perfect 😭 my mom is obsessed with this song😭❤️ i cry everytime i hear it bc its so beautiful 😭❤️ im so so proud of Roland that he finally found his love and im so so proud of Curt too that he didi'nt gave up!❤️😭 I will always love this group❤
Will I even make a comment you're showing your age? I turned 58 yesterday 😂 there were millions of us in the '80s that loved tears for fears and other bands like that ❤️
Saw The tipping Point concert film last week and it was absolutely fantastic! Just absolutely flawless! Their voices and other vocalists with them every single band member the whole sound for every single song-- just fabulous! I got to see them when it was Roland Orzabal for the Elemental tour and that was amazing too!
Around 40 years ago, I saw them in Montreal on their first tour, the ambiance was explosive in the St-Denis theater, everyone knew the lyrics of each songs, dancing standing on my seat's arms to be able to see them, one of the greatest souvenirs of my teens✌️👍
So wild. I've been listening to them for the last week lol. At first i thought it was the algorithm sending me back in time but no, this is new music and a new performance
Me too! Since last week, I feel like I've fallen into a TFF rabbit hole and I do not want to come out. I saw the TFF Live film on Thursday and I am trying to work going to Vegas in my budget to see them this weekend. If I can't make it work, I'll be here in my TFF rabbit hole. 🙂
I saw Tears for Fears on the SONGS FROM THE BIG CHAIR tour in 1985 in Los Angeles CA and Atlanta GA for the SEEDS OF LOVE tour in 1990 at Six Flags! I saw Curt solo in Sacramento CA in 93 and Roland on the Raoul and the Kings of Spain tour in 96 in San Francisco CA! AWESOME SHOWS FROM AN AWESOME GROUP!
I'm gutted .. they are my favorite, that's my birthday and I am unable to go. Just had 2 surgeries last week. Would LOVE to see them at Fontainebleau ! 😫 Have fun for me please!
I love it how incredible bands like this are still putting out great music. Tears for Fears, The Cure, Flock of Seagulls...all put out new music recently !! Real music, bands that were the soundtrack of my childhood.
I pre-ordered this album and I've listened to this song countless times already. It still gives me chills every time o hear it. Tears for Fears had been my favorite band since I was 5. They really need to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!
My brother's favourite group 40 years ago - mind you he did turn 60 this year. That's a revealing trend when people are suddenly going mad for you again.
New bands and old bands doing new music to end your show is one of the reasons I have considered you one of the best late night talk shows aside from many other reasons Jimmy Kimmel, but, when you don't show up to do a new show every night it makes me think you are taking me and everyone who watches you for granted, I respect that you have a personal life, but, so do I and maybe i should get on with my personal life without counting on you to be a part of it, unless you do your show, lol
Such a good song. The album is great too. Although it only has a few new songs, their tour for The Tipping Point was fantastic and I'm excited to have live renditions of songs from that tour.
these guys never quit making great music, people stopped listening. i wished they had paired with more artists like oleta adams for their vocals. love collaborative music from the greats, their egos are what causes them to fall when they feel they are great with out lending a hand to the next generations and to the preceding generations on their way out. tears for fears with roy orbison and tom petty would have been legend. tears for fears with serebro and madison beer would also be legend
I remember being at their second private showcase on 6th June 1982 at Tiffany's Club in Bath. An invited audience of about 25. They played for 25 minutes. Manny had the 'click' coming from a 1.4 inch Revox tape machine. No a word was said to the audience. It didn't need to be. No encore. No need. Note perfect. The baby had been born. Then I met them again when they bought a Fairlight Series III CMI. We swapped sounds and user 'tricks'. Nice.
I am so glad Roland and Curt got back together. This song is so beautiful!
Another band from the 80's and still rocking in 2024.
Too bad you didn't live in the 80's, u just really don't know how rockin' they are :)
Roland and Curt have pulled off the Robert Smith trick. Vocally they still sound just as spectacular as they did back in the 80’s. I love this band!!!
Butter
The Robert Smith Trick? I thought that was dressing up as your own granny so nobody can notice how you are aging?
It’s insane how good of a band they are. Every note sounds beautiful and massive. The production is just stellar ❤️
The sound engineers should also be given props
@@waynedexter they are spectacular musicians
I agree 100%. they sound better than ever. not surprised! : )3 sold out shows in Vegas coming up.
Saw them last year at Madison Square Garden. Lhey were excellent!
But the mastering on their CDs is diabolical. A well mastered CD should have a dynamic range of 12 +. This recent one is 5 😮. No dynamics at all. No subtlety. Just a mush of sound where everything is the same volume. Listening on headphones is headache inducing. Nasty
TFF giving off that Seeds of Love/ Everybody Loves A Happy Ending vibes. Beautiful.
Please vote for the band in the Rock n Roll hall of fame 🌸🌼🌸Maria Lambert
No
YES THEY HAVE TO BE FEATURED THERE!❤❤
They’re really talented.. they should be there!!!!! They’re my favorite band of all time.
@@leigheaux928 same! I’m totally with u on this
They deserve that!
This is the type of band that’s saving music for all of us although some don’t realize it. Mothers Talk!!
Glad to see the guys still making new music.
😂
And making great music! They just get better and better.
I've loved Tear For Fears for decades. Just love them.
My favorite band ever, changed my life. Whenever I fall into my depressive episodes I listen to them and they help me view the world as beautiful again, as if they reach out their hands and pull me out of that dark place. Thank you Tears for Fears for everything💙
Yes! Exactly this. Beautifully said. I’m so grateful for them. Rescued again and again. xo
Beautiful words ❤
Beautiful words ❤
The Hurting was one of the first albums I ever bought. Listened to it for hours. Loved this performance, they still got it.❤
As good as I imagined... And no lip syncing!
Their last album is a masterpiece.
Oh. Yay! The harmonies were beautiful. I saw them live in 1985 or ‘86, and again in 2017. Fantastic.
Curt’s bass playing is SO underrated-appreciated!
Awesome 💜 I never got to see them in concert 😢 they sounded fantastic
agreed!
@@kimberlyhendren2097hi Kim hope you are well
@@yaseenbradley9829 yes, thank you! you as well!
they should have been inducted to the rnr hall of fame 20 years ago.
The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame has been irrelevant for decades - a total sham, maybe if TFF were rappers or pop divas they'd be included.
Absolutely love Tears for Fears
Woman in Chains
Sowing the Seeds of Love
Everybody Wants TRTW
Great classic hits
I love that they are still around
All the best!
All the best Jimmy Kimmel, Guillermo, team!
Dont forget Shout, my all time favorite ❤.
The new song, AMAZING.

Been a fan since Songs from the Big Chair. They are consistently excellent and completely underrated in my opinion. Talent always stands the test of time.
Roland and Curt together again! Always a beautiful duet that makes my mind feel good and my chest beat with joy! Collooh Callay!!💙💙💙💙
One of the greatest groups ever. Listen to Tears for Fear radio on my morning walks. That probably makes me sound old. lol
If I was fit enough to go on morning walks, I would feel younger! It's all a matter of perspective. 🎶
Every day, every hour and every minute this band is better and better... 2020'S are the new 80's

Beautiful song. They are timeless and get better with age!!!❤❤❤❤
I’m impressed it’s great live best band in the world.
Quality and consistently good through their career.
Every album is top notch.
Gorgeous sound from the 80s modernized for today... they sound so good... love it!
We all need to thank Emily... She is Roland's sunrise, every day, that keeps him flowing and growing! And doesn't tolerate excuses! Good for YOU Both!
Im showing my age, but Songs from the Big Chair is a CLASSIC!!!
Legen...wait for it...dary!

I don't think you should say it, I think you should 'SHOUT, SHOUT, LET IT ALL OUT!'
Back in 1985 when SFTBC came out as soon as I heard Shout on the radio I ran right to the store to buy the cassette... I just had to get that album
