Vespa LX150 Ride to work

- The little scoot that could! Vespa's LX150 is no laughing matter.
Great on the road speed for a scooter, I hate scooters that wallow about on the road, the LX150 is better than even some big bikes when it comes to that! Great handling for a standard bike, can be improved with a better shocks though. The brakes are ok, but again install some wave discs and better pads, and it would be rockin! The LX150 can be uprated too for those power hungry nutters. Malossi has a 190cc up bore kit, but get Piaggio's own 200cc kit for half the price! You will also need to install bigger carbs and Malosi airbox.... but for a stock standard bike the LX150 sure is impressive. It's even been up Genting! Next mission: slap some knobbies on and VESPACROSS!
PS: Don't watch Vespacross videos on TH-cam early in the morning just before a ride on a Vespa, the better half may not take too kindly to early morning insanity heheheh - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

That looks so fun! It used to be fun passing cars around blind turns until I broke my tibia and fibula in 1999. All the surgeons had to do was dissect my knee, grind off the end of the tibia, hammer a titanium rod into my bone marrow, drill 4 screws to fix the rod and bone. Relearning to walk after a week in the hospital took only 6 months. I felt the torque of the socket set used to unscrew the implanted screws as they caused complications after 1 year like rubbing on my shoes, boots especially. I still can't lift my big toe 16 years later so I can't ride a motorcycle (can't upshift.) It's cool though as I have been keeping up with the physical therapy homework instructions for 16 years. And when I stub my big toe, it doesn't hurt due to nerve damage, but the rainbow colored bruise reminds me that I have to wear shoes whenever I walk because of the dropped big toe. Nice video! What MPH or KPH do you hit?

Engine now one year old, serviced 3 times normal oil change and oil filters, no problems. Starter relay died on me a weeks ago RM113 to change at Naza, no other problems.... still stock standard

More exciting to see a small scooter drive fast than a big bike drive slow! Is your scooter stock? I also have an LX 150 i.e. in the Philippines and I'd like to ride like you! Wish our streets in Manila are as nice as yours in Malaysia.

You could easily have died like 8 times on that trip to work. Just one little mistake or a car that pulls out infront of you, and you're dead. You would not be able to brake or avoid in time because you're going way too fast.

WTF! about Malossi+upraded+bigger carbs+another airbox+better shcks+another wave discs+another pads ????????? why all that ? buy an GTS 125ie with 15 HP, orrr go for the GTS250ie/300ie, thats!! rocking, i own a LX125 and a GTS250ie, i KNOW how slow the LX are, real top 95, and very slow granny like acceleration, but, rides very nice though,. but if you wanna go real faster with more torq and expecialy higher speed go for the GTS,. ;)
