It's not Jinno this time around, but its Caco, taking a little break from AutoDeal to host Beyond the Ride to review his very own 2013 Vespa LX150-that he got for an acorn and a popsicle. Great bike revue, love the Vespa, Caco is a very funny dude, loved his sense of humour. l brought a new Vespa 150 with big chrome engine panels back in 1970 from Warr's in London, l still have it and love, of the dozens of bikes l had over the years it was the only one l didn't sell. Fifty years later l brought a Harley Fat Boy from the same dealership. Old bikers never die, they only smell that way...... :-)

Nice review. But. One of the things I like about Gino's reviews, is that you always see him putting on all the necessary protective gear before the ride. Come on Caco. I know that Vespa's a triumph of style over function. However, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be wearing boots (for ankle protection), gloves and a jacket, every time you ride.
I'm guessing Caco will add that to the reasons why he prefers reviewing cars!

Great review man. In Taiwan because the drinks( milk tea)are so popular that a smart guy invented a bag partially for drinks. You can easily hang that in front of you😂 Great review anyway, I bought my Lx 150 recently also.

I owned this exact model from 2012-2015. Pleasing to the eyes and the height was way better than other scooter I had, but after 3 years it will brings you a lot of problem. First the CVT will vibrate and shake when you ram or brakes, the seats will start to have a mechanical failure to open and the problem with that you can't even fill up your gas. Had that when my fuel are turning empty. The compartment under your seat, when you put your stuff it will heated up coz it located right above the engine. not good at all if you asked me on that issue.
And the most ridiculous about this bike is that nobody can really service it except certain particular dealer/ workshop. Not only you have to travel far for consultation when you have problems with it, it will ripped your wallet open. It cost me to maintain my Vespa more than my Mitsubishi. My advice, stay away from this model. But if you're want to be part of the retro Vespa trend, then proceed with caution.
Lx 150 is good vespa. I still use it since today.
