    The amazing thing for people who don't live in the area is just how close these areas are to what would be considered "upscale" you can be on a street with ritzy shopping, $4,000 a month apartments, every car is a BMW, Lexus, Mercedes throw in the occasional Rolls Royce, and 3 blocks away and you are in the hood, the deep hood, like a completely different world.
    You might ask yourself, how could this be? Law enforcement in the areas basically operates on a containment strategy. They spend very little time actively policing these areas but go zero tolerance once you leave that area. They contain most of the narcotics and street level prostitution to those areas, smae with vagrancy, panhandling, the mentally ill homeless, I mean they know these people on many cases literally have nowhere to go, nobody wants them but they have to be somewhere and it's not going to be where the wealthy and upperclass live.

      They literally built highways directly through prospering blk communities. It’s why u make one wrong turn and end up dead smack in the hood even though u were just in the burbs. Them building those highways destroyed our businesses, homes, and sense of community. It was normal business to do this in FL.

    People have to get it out their head that Florida is just old people, transplants and tourism. This is the dirty south! The southern bones are still alive and well. Yes there are many people from up north that move here and very touristy. This can have a impact on the identity in some parts of the State. More so south Floridas coastal cities, on the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. it's expected giving it's sub tropical weather year round, beaches and amusement parks. But even the cities like Orlando, Miami , Tampa, ft Myers etc. With their heavy tourism and transplant attractiveness, all these places still have its southern identity in there. Tat a fact! Also don't get the sun and fun confused with the state not having economic issues and poor areas.

    Let me put this in context: Donald Trump’s sprawling estate in Mar a Lago on the beautiful island of Palm Beach is just over the bridge (literally), from where all this is filmed. Palm Beach county is so diverse from one EXTREME end of the economic spectrum to the other end. You really have to see it to believe it. One day, you should make a video of the drive from West Palm onto Palm Beach Island.

Didn't see a bunch of blue tarps up on the roofs. Y'all want to talk some s*** about West Palm Beach you should have came through before mayor Louis Frankl took out the neighborhoods to build City Place we could have gave Detroit and Chicago run for the money back then. I encourage this guy to take his camera down to College Park or Northwood to show y'all what West Palm really looks like. This is the Trap where all the low income minorities have been forced into as a result of the older neighborhoods being gentrified and turned into $400,000 single floor bungalows.

    It dont look too bad. In fact it seems nice. Plenty of trees, and the houses have gardens and are seperate from each other, plenty of space. And all the cars look new. No real edge to the place.
    I live in Liverpool in the UK, parts of my city are much sketchier than this. And 1000X more interesting.
    Thanks for the vid though Brother

    Miami was so bad back in the 1980's and 90's they went to Atlanta and had Atlanta residents shook. You know a city is bad when they can go to a whole different city and take over their projects.

It’s not the same in no way shape or fashion. In Atlanta all you can do is rap or trap and all through florida there many ways to get money. You probably only referring to Atlanta murder rate but that’s why so many niggas broke out there yall try to impress men and in florida we want the women my brother lol. NO COMPARISON

    Leaving aside disquisitions of a social nature, ghettoization, discrimination , marginalization, etc., paradoxical in the foreground the abandonment of entire neighborhoods and in the background the cranes in new construction sites, evidently in the USA the recovery and conversion of old buildings and structures is not taken into consideration at all,preferring anacrostically to burn new land and cement green areas, thus remaining behind in the history of modern urban planning.An unfair country increasingly in decline politically, socially, urbanistically and that doesn't even realize it.

    • @foodiegal9923
      @foodiegal9923 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re a bit off with your comment. The decline is apparent but I disagree that people don’t realize it. People are ABSOLUTELY aware of what is happening around them. There are systems that are in place that make it difficult to stop or reverse those processes from happening. It’s a complicated issue and (if you’re paying attention to local politics), you would understand why. I’m curious- are you from the U.S.?

    Hello,I'm Brazilian and poor parts of USA are ok near third world countries. Looking at these videos,it seems to me that the poor parts of the west coast and the south of the US are nicer than the east. In the south and west you see simple houses, but you see a lot of nature, trees ect. In the east it seems that there are only old houses and those crumbling British style buildings and no nature. Do you Americans agree or not?

    • @Chaz4543
      @Chaz4543 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The US is on its way to becoming like Brazil someday. Nothing is being done to stop it or reverse it. Its just gonna be mostly poor people with a small amount of rich people and not much in between.
