According to a newspaper article, On 2 November(←sorry it’s October is correct), export of hydrogen fluoride to SK Hynix was already permitted.
According to the news reporting this export license, it seems that it is taking time because Korean importers struggle with submiting all the required documents that were not necessary when South Korea was on the white list.
Similar to this declaration, I think that export declaration of hydrogen fluoride to South Korea that can be confirmed as import for semiconductor manufacturing purposes etc. will be allowed.
Japan is not restricting on export hydrogen fluoride, but only strictly controls strategic materials under the international law.

Now I could see if South Korea where to be self reliant, then let’s look at electric shavers as Panasonic is from Japan then, I have also seen a bunch of products made by Philips that are made in Korea and if Philips Korea where to manufacture shavers for the South Korean market and for export then Philips will sell more shavers than Panasonic in South Korea; that way is a lost for Panasonic for electric shavers.
That means it’s a huge win for a Dutch company to sell more electric shavers being manufactured in South Korea in South Korea and a huge lost for Panasonic.

@@AMabud-lv7hy since I'm not an expert, I will leave a link to CNN page and Washington post written on this issue. ( www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2019/08/12/business/south-korea-japan-trade-war/index.html ) , ( www.washingtonpost.com/business/why-japan-and-south-korea-have-their-own-trade-war/2019/09/11/82b64246-d4fb-11e9-8924-1db7dac797fb_story.html )
However, I can tell you this much. This video is mentioning the main cause of the trade war is because south Korea's "inadequate management" of the chemicals. That is NOT the cause, rather is merely an excuse Japanese government gave after trade war started. The real issue that started the trade war is when Korean Supreme Court ruled that two of Japanese companies need to compensate several South Korean citizens for the forced labors during the years Japan imperialized South Korea. Japanese government did not like this decision, and tried to force South Korean government to alter the supreme court decision by restricting major components of semi-conductors - which Korea's major companies (such as Samsong) need for making cell phones. Since using this as a reason for trade restriction is against the rule under WTO trade agreement, they had to come up with different reasons why they are starting the trade war. That's where their made-up reason of South Korean government's "inadequate management" of chemicals comes in. South Korean government has already openly talked about this matter and asked the Japanese government about in what standard the management was inadequate. Until today, Japanese government still has not given an straight answer to that question, despite the fact that they are using that reason as a main cause of trade restriction. If whomever made this video looked up just a little bit more in to the subject, they cannot be making this major mistake in their summary.

If countries that are not friendly to China like Japan, Vietnam, Australia all joined this same agreement, why not India? Because India was too nationalistic just like the US under Trump. In the case of Korean and Japanese politics, it is definitely not money. If it was money, both countries would have less restrictions on trade. It is the opposite - both populations are pushing politicians to be as nationalist as possible against the other. That's the same case in all of developing Asian countries tbh.
Think about it, South Korean President managed to put more than half of Supreme Court judges by himself in less than a single 5-year-term. Then the Supreme Court ruled that South Koreans can sue Japanese firms. South Korea keeps escalating this, confiscates Japanese assets, and then cries when the Japanese put restrictions on trade. But nobody can stop South Korea to stop shooting itself in the foot - because its population keeps demanding it from their politicians.
The only winner due to all of this is not money or its owners. It is China.

In spite of the terrible things that Japan did to us during the colonial period, the representative of Japan showed tremendous despair, not to apologize, but to go to a shrine with a class war criminal and to admire a lot. Because of this, the Korean people were still in a state of great anger, but they still treated Japan as a friendly country. however, our judiciary made the right decision on what to do both legally and ethically. even if Japan has an agreement, the right to individual compensation does not disappear,, despite this fact, Japan put pressure on the administration and imposed huge sanctions.

For now, those who pass gun license are those who pass at shooting things and can afford "cheap" guns. This created problems when almost everyone can carry a gun, including those who shouldnt in the first place. Answer this question, Why we own a weapon? It is to protect our properties. But some will answer, we get weapon because we want to attack. Those with who lined up with the latter answer is the reason why gun license should be re evaluated.

    Please understand based on that
Japan "Korea, exports of materials that can be used for weapons have tripled,
but they have not been resold to other countries, right?"
South Korea "I don't say how I used it"
Japan “Korea has an obligation to manage and report properly. If it cannot do it, it must be excluded from White country.”
South Korea "It doesn't matter what you do, export it."
Japan "There is no explanation so I will exclude it from White Country. Please explain it from now on before importing."
     South Korea “Japan is harassing”
     Japan"????????"
I don't think reselling weapons is a good idea. And South Korea says, "It's a declaration of war on the Korean economy!" but we just quit the preferential treatment. From now on, we will trade like any other country in the world.

I grew up in California and took Korean and Japanese history during my freshman year of college. My history professor, who holds history phD from Yale, taught us Japanese lobbied to US to distort the facts that happened during the Japan’s colonization on Korea between 1910 and 1945 for 36 years. He said comfort women aka “sex slave” were mostly forced and those women “served” (had forced sex) at least 20 to 30 japanese soldiers per day. If a Korean sex slave woman was pregnant of Japanese soldier’s baby, Japanese aborted the baby by stabbing that pregnant woman’s womb. If they failed on abortion, they took those pregnant women to China and either buried them alive or burned them.

    • @Toreno5u9f
      @Toreno5u9f 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Hmm, seems you and your professor have got it all wrong. There were definitely such a kind of women, which means they're called "comfort women" But, Japanese didn't force them to be "sex slave", rather, Japan recruits all the women including Japanese women to sexual work under "old Japanese government", Empire of Japan for well-paid reward, not for free, compared with other jobs at that time, especially in all over the world that progress of the world’s women didn't come. Therefore, do you know Japanese women called Pan-Pan who work for sexual work? only Korean women didn't work for it. There's the reason to set up a dirty job like this, because, if Japanese government that had the most power in the east Asia at that time hadn't set up the sexual work place, what would be happened? Probably, soldiers had raped all the women in all over the public place like East Germany at the terminal stage of the war and STD were spread easily through such a sexual action without any management, Japanese government strongly concerned about those kind of situation. Because Japan must clearly take those responsibilities that Japan had offered the proper place, Empire of Japan set it up. In the middle of the war or right after, Korea where was the Japan's colonization and Japan were chaos and there were Korean and Japanese who didn't have enough money to buy food, so some of women had to do the job to earn the decent money, however, regarding Korean women, their parents themselve sell her daughter off to Japan's sexual work for their parents to get a whole bunch of money from Japan, so although Korean women is wanting to blame the sexual work for Japan, that's wrong, if they want to regret those experience, they should blame their parents who sell her off easily for it and regret or blame her own decision. And yet that's not over, Japanese government offered additional compensation to Korean government after the war although they had naturally paid the decent money during its working and The Treaty on Basic Relations between Japan and Korea is signed by Korea and Japan in June 22 1965. In this treaty, by renouncing the right, infrastructure and property that Japan built on Korean Peninsula during the colonization, not only that, providing a government budget of Korea for the next two year's worth at that time by Japan, Japan positively implement OECD for Korea, the bilateral right of claim issue were settled completely and finally by this agreement. Also, with the treaty, the agreements between Japan and Korea concerning the settlement of problems in regard to property and claims and economic cooperation was also signed. Japan provided South Korea with $300 million grant in economic aid and $200 million in loans together with $300 million in loans for private trust, a total of $800 million as "economic cooperation". South Korea and Japan finally established the equal diplomatic relations in June 22 1965. However, a problem is, South Korea's government hasn't paid compensation to individual victims of Japanese military sexual slavery, known as "comfort women". In January 2005, the South Korean government disclosed 1,200 pages of diplomatic documents that recorded the proceeding of the treaty. The documents, kept secret for 40 years, recorded that the Japanese government actually proposed to the South Korean government to directly compensate individual victims but it was the South Korean government which insisted that it would handle individual compensation to its citizens and then received the whole amount of grants on behalf of the victims. Although South Korea must have spent this whole amount of grants, compensation to the victims, they has spent its infrastructure on building, not sent them to the victims. So that's why I believe South Korea should be blamed for this problem. This is just unreasonable for Korean and Koreans to hold a grudge against Japan.
Then, Why South Korean hate Japan so much, because they're educated that way in their childhood, by who? by Syngman Rhee. He had escaped US during the colonized Korea by Japan and returned South Korea right after the war and colonization under Japan, but every scenery was different to his eyes, people of Korean was delighted to use its infrastructure like road, railway, tram and hotel and so on that Japan built during Japan's colonial era, naturally, although I sympathize with him, he hated Japan and can't pass this happening because Japan is clearly enemy to him and reformed South Korea's education immediately and rewrote the education to say Japan has crimes in all aspects, this is called "anti-Japan". At that time, Freedom of the press didn't exist in South Korea until 1987 although now young Korean may not know, so that's why, even though there were people who knew Japan really did things in colonized South Korea, they couldn't be allow to say the real thing in public. Also, in fact, there's Korean who experienced the colonization under Japan and the war, even in Japan and that Korean on youtube proved "the colonization was good, from the starting day of colonization, Japanese said to me "now you're Japanese, let's get along with each other!" and I was paid the decent salary and completely equal pay for equal work to Japanese worker". There's other Korean who is saying the same thing even in Japan. The Korean man who live in Tatsuno-shi, Hyogo said "my father worked for shipbuilding in Japan during the war, and my father didn't complain about Japan for a bit when he was alive, I found the breakdown of salary when I sorted through my father's belongings and believe my father was paid to the proper salary from Japan." If Korea say Japan is evil and hate, I think North Korea should immediately destroy the railway which is built almost 100 years ago during the colonization, if I was North Korea, I wouldn't want to use the railroad my enemy country built but they don't do that, instead, do the hotel which is built by South Korea. www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-50152253
So Kim Jong-un used the railroad to attend 2018 North Korea-United States Singapore Summit, did you know this fact? However, even though there's real facts like this, now Korean who have never experienced war and have been educated by Syngman Rhee to assume Japan has been a bad guy is the main generation in Korea, it'll be pretty hard for them to correct their thinking and understand the real fact.
"If a Korean sex slave woman was pregnant of Japanese soldier’s baby, Japanese aborted the baby by stabbing that pregnant woman’s womb. If they failed on abortion, they took those pregnant women to China and either buried them alive or burned them."
Don't spread clear and crazy fake! Besides, you said "If", do you know "Lai Dai Han"? although this is not relative to Japan for a bit, it's Vietnamese term for a mixed ancestry person born to a South Korean father and a Vietnamese mother due to sexual assault by Korean soldiers during the Vietnam War. In fact, there's clearly the victims who was raped Vietnamese women by South Korean's soldiers and their children. Not only that, South Korean's soldiers ignore the born baby and go their country after the Vietnam War, on the other hand, US soldier compensated the women and paid child support fee. Vietnam says South Korea don't admit this fact although there's clealry Lai Dai Han and naturally never apologize them or compensate. With this, South Korea has just Double standard! If they have time to yell anti-Japan or ask Japan's compensation even though Japan deeply apologized to them and compensated enough worth or value, I think themselves should be applied to the same standard and apologize immediately Vietnamese and compensate.

What is Japan aiming for about Korea? Once the drunken Japanese policymakers have advocated to take Dokdo as a military. Recent news on South Korea's weapons development and third-party assessments of South Korea are favorable. In addition to Japan, Japan is the only country in the world that has an anti-Korean book section if it has a high level of popularity. As such, it is the hope of the Japanese to imagine that Japan is a favorable assessment globally. These things are similar to the people of any country who are selfish. It is not a government that teaches objective truth in Japan, but only Asahi Shimbun is in the media. As long as Japan has a Japanese government or media that has given up objective evaluation of Korea, it is difficult for Japan to become an internationally moral country. Self-satisfaction can always be there, but the political use of the country is not high in popular is not high. Only the Japanese don't know. The Japanese say they helped Korea, but Koreans don't think so at all. Technology was also introduced, but the price was paid. Japan has stolen technology from the United States or Germany. The Japanese government's colonial compensation was around $300 million and there was no compensation for individuals for "crime against humanity". On the other hand, Chinese civilians were reimbursed and duplicated. Tsushima citing the San Francisco Peace Treaty, but with Japan, Dokdo issue be as Korean school books compiled by the state of the official documents or later. Maps around the world of the Dokdo as Korean map to about 185. Of course, changing the color of the map and manipulating it into Japanese territory is the skill of the Japanese media. It was also the Japanese media that omitted Korean donations from statistics during the Great East Japan Earthquake. This has played a major role even now in the novel-like history of giving benefits to Korea and the manipulation of public opinion by the sham media that joined it. Prime Minister Abe's regulation of exports, not imports, is also the result of learning the wrong history. In the past, Japan has copied many technologies from the U.S. and Germany. I can say that I stole this mole. Then, is there any technology that Korea stole from Japan? If pollack sauce, pollack sauce, and pollack have moved from Korea to Japan, the Japanese say it is their traditional food. Far from acknowledging this fact, the South should sever diplomatic ties with South Korea on a trivial pretext. It is Korean who knows Japanese bad deeds and habits best. It would be in his favor to Japan to stop its foolish incitement. Therefore, some politicians and the media instigated the slandering of Koreans by all means. It is important to know that Japan can never be a beautiful advanced country and it is not. Isn't Japan fighting the glory of the past? Cruel history needs to be stopped immediately. Sengaku is Chinese and Kuril Islands is Russian. Dokdo is without saying. Will Japan be able to handle the fight?
Japan makes opportunities a crisis, and Korea uses crises as opportunities. Of course China spreads the crisis to the world. The average Korean is not very interested in Japanese slander. Japan only waits for Korea's mistakes. That's how they make headlines. The illusion that war crimes countries without reflection are recognized worldwide is their own sleep talking.

And why are the koreans blindly taking part in the boycott then?

Ok. Since exactly when did Japan start a “trade war” with south korea?
“BMW is well known for having used forced labors during the war and they officially admitted those wrong doings. Why Japanese companies can not admit that? Why does Japanese government openly prevent those companies from a justful response?”
Do you really believe that Jaoanese are so mannered and kind that they had never done unjustice things to korean laborers?”
What exactly is the unjust that was done? What does it have anything to do with Japanese people being “well mannered and kind”?
“I saw many interviews from old Japanese politicians who were mentioning that when they were young they actually saw many forced laborers from Korea who were bleeding and were full of scars on their back carrying heavy stuffs... And there are many official papers that those companies postponed the payment of wages and actually did not pay the money to laborers.”
Sounds exactly like what the average Japanese laborers went through. Looks like the ethnic koreans were treated just as equal to the ethnic Japanese.
“ Koreans want Japanese to learn these histories not to humiliate Japanese but to have trustful friendship with Japanese. If we dont share same value and memories how can we be ever friends and can work together?”
Umm, Japanese people do learn about this part of history. Not only in schools but from grandparents who actually went through this back in the day. If korea wants to be friends with Japan, how about starting off with not boycotting for no reason? And possibly quit trying to rewrite history and claiming Japanese territories and cultures?
“Japanese are not naturally bad or evil.”
No shit. No one is naturally bad or evil. The fact that you even have to point this out says alot about you.
“But there are some toxic social culture in Japan which make japanese ignorant to others' pain. Please i beg to Japanese. Please wake up”
My grandfather went to Japan to study when he was young during the war. There were some programs that Japanes government hired middle schoolers from Korea to work in Japanese factories during the day time. And instead of paying them enough money they offered a school program to those kids including my grandpa during the night time after the works in the factories. I think my grandpa was really lucky. This is true. Japanese attitude is 100 times more sincere than your attitude. It is undoubtedly a fact that Japan wanted South Korea to be the same nation and helped you civilize, one of the poorest countries in the world at the time. It is true that many countries were ruled by the Japanese Empire, but many were liberated by them. One of them was South Korea, which was liberated by Japan since it was ruled by the Qing dynasty at that time.

This is a fake report like Asian Boss. Japan's Public security authorities say that over the years, some ship has been used to illegally export missile parts from Japan to North Korea and to give instructions to Pyongyang's spies in Japan and It's turned out the owner of this ship was South Korean company. Around the same time, It's turned out South Korea company illegally exported Japanese-made hydrogen fluoride to all over the world. Japanese government asked Korea to explain to which country Japanese hydrofluoric acid was illegally exported from Korea but South Korea only got angry with Japan and did not give a clear answer. Therefore, Japan controlled the export of Japanese hydrofluoric acid to Korea.

That is not the true. Can u name that korean company? And that happen what you talking about was getting issued after the jp start to regulate the trade so call trade war. I think u read some novels from japanese made. The true is japan they trade with north korea illegally like resources but usa and korea later realized they done this.
So korea ask them whats going on that "japan, u just said cant trust korea cuz of the n.korea thats why regulate the trade but u trade the resources to n.korea in behind?, then who is the most untruthful country now?"
Fmi, japan now they try to cancel the and try negotiating again to korea cuz of they economy getting falling. Most of European countries like uk they cancel the trade with jp then new contract to korea for vehicle parts.
Also the resources for cellphones, now korea invented the new materials and got from other countries( i think i heard was Israel and cn) so korea is getting no needs from jp. and cuz of that jp co are getting negative effects sp they try to renew the trade code.

The agreement between Japan and Korea regarding the human atrocity and damages from colonial era were both made by Park Jung-hee and his daughter Park Guen-he. Park junghee was a devout japanese colonial officers who used to hunt down korea’s resistants. He even had japanese name, as a japanese citizen! Therefore he and his daughter’s deal with japan doesn’t count, even as the leader of the nation. That’s why there’s so much resentment about between two nations. Japan has been infiltrating their political and economic influences in South korea, leaching off korea’s success in economy by selling the crucial parts for the major industries. Park junghee, who is a traitor and essentially a japanese designed the industrial structure of korea to profit japan for decades.
