This would have been the perfect machine for me if they had only given it 5 gears or a low range. Living in the mountains of WV and also a hunter the 700 just struggled with 2 adults and 3 or 400 hundred pounds of corn in the bed. Having said that I went everywhere bigger machines went, I just struggled and amd used really hammered on the machine. I traded it last October for a 1000 deluxe and couldn’t be any happier. Great review on this machine!
I haven't had many problems with hills, but i also know to stay away from them. lol. Speed is my biggest concern. I wish it was 10 mph faster, maybe one more gear.
Agree on its height. Wouldn't fit in my portable garage. Also agree on the lack of space behind the jump seats. Gravel road driving leaves you coated with dust. Full doors and a back window helps with that.
Hard to believe they wouldn’t use a 5 spd like on the 500s. Also hard to believe that left the locking diffs off the 500s! Honda really need to unify their sxs lineup.
My dad has the same model. His biggest complaints are engine noise and heat in the cab. All the machines with centre mounted under cab engines have heat/noise issues in the cab. I had a first gen can am commander and used heat shield under the cab plastics for noise and heat. It reduced the noise and heat about 1/3. Still was uncomfortable in the summer and still had to use ear plugs. I ended up selling and buying a defender. Huge difference . My dad is thinking of the same.

I love my 700-4 deluxe. Mine is a 17 model with 2,342 miles and 298 hours on it. Still running strong. Just wish i had the larger glove box.

As a Honda fan, 700s are more noisy than the 1000’s.

Started with the 700 nice machine service the air filter regularly. Made the jump to the 1000, needed more speed,very happy. Agree on noise.

This is the most affordable full size SXS on the market. Its not going to be perfect people....
