Thanks for taking the time to make this video I'm in the process of getting a 700 with track for winter very happy about the too speed. Way faster then I need. Cheers!
Alexander i guess they just cut corners on the 700 and used the same setup they been using in there rincon atv, mine does what i need it to but when i go down the road to my hunting spot i could really use an extra gear or 2
The 1000 is definitely a way cooler machine. I have had both and for what I need the 700 is perfect. A 1000 would not fit across the bridges on my property.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone You should get that computer tuner like you talked about in the video and then see how fast it is and compare the power difference from what it was or is right now to the tuner
Great video, I'm about settled on getting a 700-4 this spring - curious about a close-up on your dash and the accessories there; is it a GPS and media player?
That’s a very reliable side by side in a couple years when your done with this one you should look into a can am defender! Anyways nice video very instructional as always
Really thought the 700 would fit my needs but I just can’t do it after watching all the videos where they won’t pull themselves up steeper grades. Looks like it’s a 1000 for me.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone that’s Awesome. If there had been any pioneers at the dealerships in my state to test drive I might have went with the 700. I got lucky and found a 1000 deluxe 3 seater this past week in Ohio and I pick it up Saturday.
I had a 1000 and went back to a 700. It all depends on what you will use it for. The 1000 doesn't fit across the bridges on my property. I spend most of my time under 20mph and the 700 is way more than adequate to haul anything.
How do you find the fact that there isn’t any “park” - someone mentioned it may be a pain. Just a parking brake. So if you stop to get something off the ground, do you have to put into neutral, with the parking brake on?
Manual mode Also lowers the gear ratios and first gear is really low then and you can hold the gear longer manual mode is really good for off roading I had a 06 rubicon that’s what it did unfortunately the rubicon was a weak peice of junk the pioneer is better because it runs the rincon hondamatc transmission witch is way better I’m definitely looking to get a pioneer 700 because it’s really good I’m getting a used one some people have problems with the pioneer 700 finding it’s gear but once it’s adjusted right it’s no problem the deluxe is what I’m after it’s probably very cheap used because the are very affordable new this video helped me make my decision

My parents have a 700-4 or 5 whatever you call it. "Front bench two back seats, ther's is like maybe 2019 or 2020. My rancher 420 es is a 2023. Theres is pretty much stock, my rancher has 27" tires. Its pretty close off the line, at 25mph mine pulls away and goes prally 10-12 mph faster. They have a good rig, but i agree, when it comes to honda pioneer, go ahead and get the 1000cc. Not for power or bragging rights. Its just better all around. My 10'cents lol.
The 700 does not have a DCT or a CVT. It has a 3 speed automatic. More like a conventional automotive style automatic transmission. Works very well though and is much better than a CVT
Never towed a trailer down a steep grade but have had full beds of oak firewood. Can't even tell it's in there really. The engine braking is very good on this machine.

It could definitely use another gear or 2 on the top end. It's not a turd to 43, but yeah that's all you get. I definitely wouldn't buy a side by side without knowing if it would satisfy my requirements first. For my use around my property as a utility vehicle and for plowing, you wouldn't never even want to go anywhere near 43 MPH. I've also been on some serious trails with CanAms and talons and p1000s and have never been left behind. Just my experience so far.

@Braden Duncan Thanks I'll have a look!
I had a 2016 for years in eastern Oregon and you might know it's a rock pile I have over 23000 miles and just a few little repairs very good machine.
Smooth running based on the video, which is to be expected from a Honda.
With the short narrow wheel base, 45mph top end is plenty good.
That’s trash, my 08 ranger 500 efi goes 50mph
Nice machine. I'd like to see a video about all your accessories and how you installed them.
Will be coming soon
I wish the 700’s had more gears plus a turf mode, if i could do it over again id of got a 1000. But i still get alot of use out of my 700

How is the power in the 700
Broc Spears its got plenty of power just not enough speed, there geared low
Agree
People complaining that its not fast enough. Thats plenty fast!! I feel any faster and that thing might get scary.

Not true at all. If anything, it's the opposite. Has tons of low end power. Top speed is only 43mph.
