There is absolutely no way Rickson has Parks Sx due to head trauma since he never had any.In fact he had very few fights and very infrequently with no striking sparring involved.Not like modern MMA fighters who box and kickbox as part of training.

You don't know how much sparring he may have done with head trauma. Pure speculation.

@@jorndoff2002 well,I know from following him and his brothets since the mid 90s and seeing lots of brazilian import VHS Tapes from that era that they only did light head contact sparring or slaps to simulate vale tudo.The strategy involves no exchanging strikes,its clinch or out of range.It takes a lot of frequent heavy head trauma tp get traumatic dementia,its not parkinsons they get anyway,its more alzheimers Sx.

@@scarred10 You are aware the term they use is 'pugilistic Parkinson's.' Sifu Chris knows Rickson and knows head trauma. He didn't say where Rickson's Parkinson's came from.
He did say Rickson did lots of training that jostled his cranium.
Any BJJ guy knows how hard we hit the ground at times and how our face, head, and ears get smacked by knees and elbows by mistake.

@@therealshowwithsifuslim ive done bjj for over 20 yrs and also judo brown belt but mostly a tkd and kickboxer.There is virtually no head trauma in bjj,some in judo throws at times but mostly striking sparring rather than competition.How would chris know what rickson did,he was nwver his student during his active career(very few matches v useless opponents barring funaki)
