New CFI here: it is okay to test the waters with a few lessons. You won't sink in thousands of $$, 2-3 flights will cost $160 ea (plus instructor cost)and that should let you know if you're willing and able to push forward or not.

Yes, that is correct, although I was reffering to the long-term aspect (for example, you're in the middle of the process of getting a license but you give up), it still should've been important to mention that. I'm not a pilot though, but I still research the topics because I'm passionate of it.
