Hey, I’m concerned about Mini 4 Pro FPV flying with the goggles and motion controller. I decided to do both and get the Avata 2 Fly More Combo for $500 more which lets me fly the Mini 4 Pro first. Until I learn the new style controls that I’ve never done I will modify my approach. The advantage with Mini 4 is get to take advantage to the obstacles avoidance while learning to fly with goggles. This part of HUGE help to me be sure my observer passes out or something. Thanks for this post. God Blessing!

I am thinking ff mini 4 pro is better overall (not just as fpv which I guess you can call it that way when sensors are disabled since speed is the same in N and S modes) but they don't sell mini 4 pro bundle with Goggles 3....

Just got my goggles 3 and motion controller. Do you need to have the DJI Fly app (or any other app) installed on the phone first, before plugging in the dongle?
My wife and I have been thinking about putting up for the avata 2 . I bought the Mini 3 pro last year and all the new drones hit the market. Things are horrible right now in Florida so it's nerve-wracking to spend any money. Pat, what's your opinion? Would you get The avada 2. Or is the avada one better for the buck?_

Do you know how to use the motion controller to do tracking ? I dont know how to get tracking working on motion controller. If i did not need to use the big rc controller to do tracking the little motion controller would be a dream come true due to size when im out riding

Thank you for the tutorial. Rc pro god an update, that is compatibles with googles 3. Can we use it in some way, instead of the standard rc?
I haven’t tested the RC Pro in a while. I don’t own one anymore. I would be interested to see how it works.

You will just need the DJI Fly app.
Hi. Nice video! Did you notice the drone oscillating in pitch axis some times? I’m having this issue with my m4p when I use motion 2 and goggles 2.
Hmmm, it might have something to do with our movement or some form of movement or joystick drift 🕹️

Today unfortunately it is not possible. The dji support was as surprised as me. That‘s a pity, googles 3 are cllaimed to be full compatible.

No, in order to use the motion 3 you do need the goggles. I know it by my own experience

Hello! How can you record audio with googles? It’s not like RC controller where I can plug in the receiver, so how?
I don’t know if you can, maybe via the USB - C. I would suggest getting a wireless mic like the DJI Mic 2.

You can just record separately to the microphone and sync it in post production.

Just a reminder..if you don't choose to bind then it will only allow 3 or 4 times flight & then you have to bind it on the app...

I HAD to use small cable included with the Goggles 3, my other cables wouldn't work and they were data.

I would advice anyone to not buy any drones now if dji will be banned or not!!!
It is a concern but from my understanding it could take a while to pass the ban if it happens and you can still use any drone that you buy now.
