Remote island restaurant off cost of southern Iceland

Off the south coast of Iceland lie the remote and rugged Westman Islands where we spent the day with the incredibly talented and imaginative chef Gisli Matt ‪@gislimatt‬ who has several restaurants both here and in Reykjavik. After spending part of the day with Gisli foraging around the island, we ate at his flagship restaurant Slippurinn @slippurinneatery8584 where we soon discovered it’s much more than an 8 course meal that’s served there - it’s a cultural experience for the taste buds.
