Walter was absolutely the best character in this series. John Noble was just magnificent. His acting skills were so varied and all-over-the place: ...from institutionalized Walter to brilliant Walter to drug-dropping Walter to father Walter to ultra-serious "other universe" Walter to sentimental Wallter & much more.
I love how this extended version doesn't just have very eloquent variations of the epic intro theme, but also contains the Magic Mathematical Music from that one episode - that unfinished piece was stuck in my head for the longest time, and it's so nice to see it in a finished piece of music. :)
This tune is pure bliss. We need more classic(?) pieces like this. I just noticed the twin embryos in the apple symbol, hand x-rays as the butterfly wings, dragonfly wing on the flower, and the spiral on the seahorse's body. Wow.
I really love this show... It takes so much old concepts and then makes it into something that still seems new and original.... It had plots that made me watch every episode... And best of all it actually had an ending :)
I taught myself how to play this on the piano by listening to it. I only play the part that they play in the beginning of the show. This full version is really beautiful.

Fringe is by far the best if not one of the best shows ive ever watched. The story and especially the characters are BRILLIANT ... watching fringe is like an emotional journey haha you really get into it!

No. Fringe ended on a good note. Bringing it back would just beat a living horse and finishing it again would be beating the already-dead horse. Fringe's ending is solid.
Truly haunting instrumentation. It perfectly captures the strange, the inexplicable, the sense of wonder acquired from it. Like the feeling of discovery, when you see something truly curious and would give anything to know more.

So excellent to hear the entire theme song -Wow, I had no idea it was so classical in style-However this full version has a strong classical sound to it. GREAT! Yes I still love the TV Series much sorter altered edit as well. I loved reading my feelings as so many of the statements below speak my heart as well.
I listen to this when I'm writing. Not only is the soundtrack itself beautiful and mysterious, it also stirs up a lot of emotions and themes that were present in the show so it sort of gives me the motivation I really need to write by setting the tone :)

For example, the hand has six fingers, the butterfly's wings are made of finger bones, one of the petals on the flower is a dragonfly wing, the frog has a capital Phi on its back, the seahorse has a Fibonacci spiral on it, the smoke forms the shape of a face, the leaf has a Delta on it, the apple has human embryos instead of seeds, and the horn has numbers on it.
