  • Hey everyone,
in this video I will show you some examples of True Red-Tailed boas while going over my short and basic care guide. This is just what works for me and I only share my opinion on the care of these snakes. My videos DO NOT replace literature or research on this matter!

Great video and immaculate collection, Jim. Your room looks lovely. I can tell it's a clean, fresh room just from how it looks.

@@localityboasdo yearlings typically cost more than baby boas? Is there much of a price difference between a baby boa and a yearling or a 2 year old boa?

@@NumbDiggerlmao depends. Usually older animals cost more since more time has gone into their care. However I prefer babies max. one year old. I raise all up from small size to have better control on their feeding regimine and to know their individual behavior better such as seasonality etc. for future breeding trials. Hope this helps

I keep all my boas the same way with the exception of the ETB or arboreal boas which require different husbandry. All the contrary the bcc are just as hearty as bci now if you try to feed then immediately handle for fun then yeah they will regurgitate.
