Thank you. Like, subscribe and share if you like my TVP videos. Appreciate your time to leave a comment. I have loads more videos to upload on the Trafic/Vivaro/Primastar vans🤝
I attempted this today but I’m struggling with the ball joint on the arm. I’ll pick up a separation fork and give it another go tomorrow but in moving the drive shaft slightly I’ve lost a very small amount of transmission fluid. How much trouble have I caused?
@@Nutberg20 I have a video on the full rebuild of this gearbox. Watch rowards the end to learn about the way you check the correct oil level. I am glad you asked as these gearboxes are known for getting damaged for not having the correct amount of oil. It is a good idea to drain it and replace the oil as it will extend the life of the gearbox anyway. Don't worry, you will be ok. I have covered most of these jobs on my channel. Full engine rebuild video coming soon🤝🏻
@@TheKeenMechanic Thankyou for your reply! Its recently had a new clutch so the fluid is fresh in last week. I got the arm on today along with drop links and track rod ends. All seems well with the van. Ready for the MOT. I shall check the levels and top up if needed. Thanks. Will check out your other videos for more info.
I have alot of knocking over bumps etc on my 2013 vivaro. Ive had top mount bearings done about 4 years ago and i did track rod ends and drop links about 2 years ago. Knocking is really bad now, would you say it is wishbone bushes. I cant find any play in ball joints etc.
It is hard to tell from far away but the knocking noise could be coming from the top of the shock rubber/steel plates on top of shock to strut tower. Just lift it on a 4 post lift if you know anyone and check every joint🤝🏻
best video clear instructions highly recommended well done
