Spend less time practicing coordinated dances and more practicing the sport you're competing in and maybe they'd be able to show respect DURING the game, instead of before the inevitable domination.

Lol he made it too
Somehow it doesn't have the same intimidation factor as when done by massive rugby players....
That's because the All blacks are the greatest rugby team the world ever seen...........they just destroy everything on their path, 3 times World cup champions .....so its understandable that their Haka are more fearsome and more intimidating than other sports " in which the NZ national team participates..........
Its the same reason why we never seen NZ " All white" football team performs Haka in any match , because they are not football " powerhouse" ....and usually they get poor results as opposed to the " All blacks" rugby team......
@@azreenklose7976 Not this year though, eh pal?
@@azreenklose7976 OK. I'm glad England put a stop to that, then.
@@azreenklose7976 Springboks are the best team this year
@@10parth10 Yes they are. At least All Blacks are the only team to beat them this year. SA only just managed to draw against NZ earlier this year and then were beaten 23-13 in the WC pool stages. But credit to SA, they adapted and won the competition.
Congratulations world champions what a performance 💪🏻🔥 - September 2023

Why is it crazy? Haka is one of the oldest traditions of New Zealand.
Oh man, I'm American and I love this. The Haka is amazing! Our boys just look so confused - lol
V OGW No it's not amazing. It's just disrespectful and stupid. USA players should have just sit on the bench instead of watching these bastards. And I am not even American.
V OGW Indeed it is amazing.
chal lavde
Dante Intx
It's not disrespectful. I don't even think you can do better.
Dante Intx your the type of American that doesn’t know anything outside America it’s a tradition that they have than many decades ago
Doing a war dance before a non contact sport is wild.
what a cool way to introduce your culture to the world..
very cool

The other people seems stupid in this comments... Talking shit about tradition and sucking the USA basketball players dicks, when the highlights were about an awesome tradition and war dance... I want to go to Canada now :P
Nice comment ^_^
Omar de la cruz I am all about basketball and no denying how good the USA is but this video was not about that for sure! it was about New Zealand Haka dance, it forced me to google about the it and learn so many new things about New Zealand in the process.. i think it also shows creativity and overall good entertainment
Wow, a good person on TH-cam. Live long, good person. Live long and prosper.
thank you you are A GOOD PERSON AND RESPECT FULL
Vaibhav Gupta *rolling eyes* just because someone wrote a comment that says he likes something makes him a good person??? my god, you are so stupid and such an unconscious person, your comment is one of the most stupid I've ever read in my whole life..
That's awesome, culture related or not, I enjoyed that
"On paper #Spain2014 is an amazing achievement, no NBA players, no Euroleague players but once again we proved very good at throwing it in the face of the basketball world," said former #TallBlacks' coach Nenad Vučinić
Americans took it well, it was very classy reaction. But it if would've been us with the undeserving losing record that we got 1-4 if they come any closer, we will punch them out! They will have to forfeit the game. Boy did we underachived in that World Championships.

So terrible that we're going to have to rebuild!
By the time we win medals either in the Olimpics or in a world championships tournament I'll be on a walker!

Well they were the only ones who could've beaten the Americans, they lost to France; hard to explain.
Bro I swear they used 20% of their stamina for this dance 💀
0:26 D Rose "I have no idea"
Rose reaction the best. “I hope they don’t expect me to do that next, I wouldn’t even dance before the all star game.”
USA was like:
"Cool moves.
*Now watch this."*
Credit for the US players for not laughing.
its really cool to see that team USA really respected their culture by listening to what they have doing for years. Such a cool culture
My favorite part about this video is after the Haka, Steph Curry turns around and shoots a three like "can you do that tho?"
SoofaFly29 Gran detalle. 🤣
If they're playing the US I'm pretty sure all the players can shoot three's.
killed me
Me and the bois about to do this in our pickup games
I come back just to see Harden’s face.
Team USA: *"And we took that personal..."*

If this was done in an NBA game the whole team would be ejected.

new zealand after the dance are like " ok it didnt work that baby faced man just splashed a three and they all clapping like its all good"
+bernard james good haka nonetheless ;)
Do you know what haka is? Its really old and traditional new zealand dance, it means huge respect to opponent and they are really proud of it.
bernard james "didn't work"? It's not meant to scare someone.. it's A dance of respect
culture shock for U.S. americans... I wonder how people would comment if that was a rugby match.
King Loz It's a dance they would do before going to war. How is that respect? It's origins clearly lie in intimidation, and people can hide being the guise of respect but show respect by being competitive.
Here's a crazy idea. Spend less time practicing coordinated dances and more practicing the sport you're competing in and maybe they'd be able to show respect DURING the game, instead of before the inevitable domination.
Bruh their faces gets me every damn time 😂😂😂😂
I love at the end how Steph calmly turns around and drains a three.
USA be like "is y'all finished or is y'all done?"
😂😂😂😂😂

Then they say it's time for the U.S war dance then ju ju on that beat starts playing
surf king the US war dance is actually going to war and winning. My favorite type of war dance
Where's the pride coming from? Cuz all I here is ur defensive puny ass scared. Pathetic
You USA citizens commenting down there (yeah I won't call you Americans because you're not the whole America) need to get educated on cultures.
