Rugby Teams always obsess over how to respond to the Haka and USA basketball nailed it.
They didn't try and act hard, they didn't get agro, didn't try and act like nothing was happening and at the end, they clapped respectfully, as though to say, 'thank you for the performance'.
They looked professionally respectful, a little annoyed at being subject to a compulsatory aggressive dance performance at a sports event, a little impressed and surprised, and not worried at all.
Playing New Zealand at rugby is a very different prospect to playing NZ at basketball

I remember watching the All Blacks in 2014 in the Principality stadium vs Wales.
Two countries fanatical about rugby and both of them absolute titans at it clashing in a massive stadium.

It would be nice if people at least try to understand what it's about before commenting...I see people talking about 'the US still won' and 'who are they trying to intimidate' and so on. It's not about that...it's about culture. Hakas are primarily a sign of respect...that's all...they're not just war cries...which is why they're performed at weddings, funerals, sports events etc I liked how the US players respected it and even clapped at the end.
