For long open sections a flying machine is definitely nicer. Doesn't need to be a fancy one that does everything automatically. Getting a 10-20 block wide section down to the highest ocean floor with minimal interaction is great.
This is pretty cool, but I was wandering. Can you use a regular piston for the observer moving instead of sticky pistons? Or would that be slower for some odd Minecraft logic.
you can build the same sand pusher cheaper with just a piston 1 observer and 3 redstone dust. make the observer look at the same block that the piston pushes and loop it back to the piston. you need a 2x2 extension but 4 pieces of dirt is cheap a sticky piston and a redstone block is not.
open the mini hud options, there is a tab on the far right side called "shapes". There will be a drop down menu... - choose circle > click add shape > open the circle config menu and choose the diameter and where you want to place it. make sure you enable it "on" Easiest way is to stand in the middle of where you want the circle, open the option and choose "set here" ...... After that its all pretty easy to figure out
I literally tried to make a ocean monument base in Minecraft and as I’m like nearly done the whole fucking glass ring literally by myself I realise I can’t actually fucking sponge the water out 💀
I see you did a good job in creative mode. But the next question, why? In creative mode you can clear that area a lot faster. If you are doing this in survival mode, there are a lot of issues you FAIL to show or talk about.
just gotta dust off the ol' gamer socks here.... cough cough
Thanks! Sure beats how I have been trying to do mine by hand. I will be sure to refer back.
You done the thing what ancient builders couldn't
Great idea Chappy, keep it up.

Thanks for the video, it was pretty annoying to drain out the water for me since my ocean goes down to bedrock level. It's a deep deep ocean.
how many blocks deep 💀
@@GavinLucas-d4c well water is at y-level 63 and Bedrock at -60 so about 120 Blocks.... holy
I don’t know if ima turn this into a base or a farm but it will be cool
I remember watching your chicken farm with the lava source and now I want to drain an ocean, how far we go huh.
Miss you Chappy. Hope you're doing okay. ❤
i wish sponges didnt suck so hard
Same, 9 Stacks to drain the one tunnel. Had to visit the dryer twice
@@Chapman_Farms do you know you can dry them in nether right.... right?

Do your sponges disappear too?
I have allays that pick up sponges that drop
@@grave_bane damn I didn't think about that
@@grave_bane Wow smart move
The piston machine is not working in my realm. any reason why?
Nice and easy when no guardians are spawning. 😜
Wow!
Uhm, no one tell him about slimestone 😂
you can dry your sponge in the nether as its faster.
how is the nether faster than throwing wet sponges in a furnace and picking up dry ones?
@@mrnoneofurbusiness7942they dry instantly in the nether?
but you have to place and break it
@lunadona1397 that may be true but its still faster than using a furnace
How to do the circle with Mini HUD mod?

5:31 how do you do this

I assume this doesn’t work on bedrock? I’ll test it out and report either way
Did it work?
@@C_L__08 my b I didn’t report back 😂, no it doesn’t
